This is just unbelievable, to be honest.
Blizzard promised that we will have the same experience as we had back in classic D2!
not only that now I need to pay a monthly subscription for online play (psplus+), I cant even simply type /players 8 on the solo play which I cherish!
the drop rates and non-challenge imposed by this issue is immense, and the overall experience so far is quite sickening.
and I can’t even get a refund due to PS4 policy because there are no such viable excuses as “they lied to me about this game and its features”.

I was told this would be classic D2 with a new coat of paint, no major changes but some QoL improvements. What I’ve gotten so far… terrible D3 matchmaking, majority of my online play has been solo despite desperately trying to find games over and over, removed features like chat box, and simple little things like /players x for SP.
Very disappointed, but somehow I’m still enjoying playing by myself. I’m so conflicted.

Oh my, wish I knew this 10 mins ago. Just bought it on PS4 so I could play on tv some times and use same account.
I would not of bought it on PS4 if I would of known. I play offline.
Would be great to know if they will add it or not.
Guess I’ll just have to stick to PC

Absolutely agree. The game is very good, the only thing they have to add urgently is the / players 8. Even for those of us who enjoy a more aggressive difficulty

i have the same problem with xbox, i urge all console players to flood with topics and feedback to make it clear that this problem is a major limitation to the gaming experience. I play single player and I will always play SINGLE PLAYER I don’t give a damn about playing multiplayer, give me 8 players, my high runes I find them alone

This is the leading issue on console IMO, since i see this topic brought up in almost every post.

I 100% agree.
Adjusting the player count in Single Player has been part of the OG experience on PC and stilp is.
Bring it back to consoles as well!

Add /players 8 to console please!! If only available on PC then it greatly disadvantages the console players for a cross platform game. And like someone mentioned console players pay and additional monthly subscription. It makes no sense to not have /players 8 on console!!!

I’m not the most hardcore player, but there is no reason why this feature shouldn’t be added to consoles.

+1, this is a very important feature. I did not expect to not find this implemented whey buying the game today. This is frustrating. Loved to play single player years ago and always used /players x

Absolutely my biggest letdown is lack of players 8. The other thing is perhaps using the right stick to choose what to loot
