Please add vote kick

Add vote kick because in some games sorceress enter just to kill bosses or kill quest monsters like " summoner ", after that they leave the game and people need to restart all again. We need to stop toxic behaviors.

No, for the obvious toxic reason you listed. It would simply get abused.

By the way, it isnā€™t the sorcs responsibility to carry you!

Just ask for P8 in game creation for bnet games. That way you can invite onlt people you DO want in your games.

Ever play L4D or Chivalry? HAHAHA!

lol clown suggestion
imma join OPā€™s games and pk him relentlessly, as the game allows that, and d2 loses its charm when it becomes modern trash like d3 by not allowing those sorts of things

If u think that this is a nice thing to do that only proves that u are one that do these type of things, its very hard to join farm games using search right? The only clown here is you, a person that like the idea to ruin games that people are leveling and doing quests.

yeah i aggre with you, vote kick should be there, but this is have lot of thread, the purist or the "glorious legacy veteran player"are against it.

here a tip, dont put 8 player max, put like 4-5 max. it less attractive for who want greedy MF.

No, vote kick should never happen, it will be abused more than the issue you are complaining about.

Instead they should add a Quest Option for game creators:

this may good idea, or another idea is boss / quest kill should appear whenever host player in the map / area bosses. or whatever idea to prevent MF leecher

Well its more simple than that. You select Quest option when creating a game which locks any player joining that game, to the Act of the creator until they beat that Act, or even the quest. If a MFā€™er joins and kills Andy, oh well, you get the quest, but if you have not completed the Altar and they try to access The Arcane Sanctuary, they are unable to. Same with Meph until the flail is done, ect.

No, only cause it would be abused. If you create a private game, with a password, and then share the password only with friends or your discord members, etc. Same thing only playing with your ā€˜groupā€™. No vote kick needed. Solo games are private, online games are public with the option to password protect, perfect options as is

That is not the reason for me for D2ā€™s charm. In fact, griefing is unbecoming.

thing is, not everybody have friend that same page, even in discord. looking for group in discord is rarely reply or reply 1-5 hour after. its easy to join public game. almost guarateed insta play

Its part of the game. Toxic behavior is part of life. Live with it. Make a new game put a password on it. Game gives you the options be an adult and use them. We all have brains, and the game has tools to deal with toxic behavior.
The negatives of vote kick outweigh the positives. Toxic behavior can take place vote kicking innocent random players too

put password in the room?

How i can play with other people to do quest with password?

Oscuro, toxic behavior is part of life but diablo is a game not real life, the others can be adults and use the new ā€œsearchā€ option to look for mf games. U guys are trying to protect troll players. Vote is a democracy tool and it will not be abused.

Oh look at them, ruined d2 and now want their safe space in there

Another toxic sorceress detected, saying the truth makes u mad i guess.

If your mind automatically jumps to abuse, one wonders if you already have the mentality of an abuser? There are ways to design it so that it canā€™t be abused.

What are you worried about? Killed a boss then immediately getting kicked so you canā€™t loot. There are ways around this. Timers, lockouts when boss is engaged, needing to be in town, etc.

If it is loot related its funny because every time the loot argument comes up its the people saying that multiplayer games arenā€™t for loot they are for experience. So you missing out on loot because you got kicked shouldnā€™t even be a factor.

Bottom line, if you are worried about getting kicked you are either doing something that will get you kicked or you are joining the wrong games.
