Just buff exp and drop rates if no player 8, and add difficulty scale. Simple. This is what we should ask for.
Exp gain was already buffed through terror zones.
Drop rates are in a sweet spot right now.

It exists when i played d2 local area P8 games with my family in the old days.
It also exists in p2-3 password protected games with my family 20 years later. Only thing thats changed is P8 no longer exists for us to multiplay with now.

I agree 100% with everyting you said! Another way to hit the wallet is add perineal or instances lootā¦ everyone gets drops you only see your loot! This combined with play8 makes gear worthless and that hurts the wallet bottom line!

100% agree. People donāt even realise that they limit themselves with this attitude. An attitude that permeates from real life in the game. I bet they have the same approach outside of the game.
They cannot even fathom that things can be achieved solely through perseverance and hard work and not by cutting corners, so they donāt even bother to try. More than that they have the urge to try to keep everyone around them at the same level.
Once somebody appears that doesnāt agree with their bleak view of the world they label him as the villain because they need to confirm their bias:that they are victims of the system. Otherwise they would need to actually do something to reach their goal instead of complaining and crying that they cannot achieve success due to some hidden cabal.
Once again: mediocrity is the biggest enemy of the human kind.

If a video game becomes essentially a second job to get high end items, that video game has major issues. Video games are entertainment meant to be played for fun.

I am sorry but it is coming. If you think Blizzard is going to read this behemoth volume of posts requesting player x command (for better drop rates and exp) and are going to listen to 5% no-lifing this game (for money probably) I do not know what to tell you. Especially when player-retention is so low that probably D3 has way more players than D2R, and it wonāt even sell much copies even with 75% discount anymore.

you could invest as little time as you want and you would still have a coherent build before the ladder ends.
will you have all the top tier items? of course not, but you donāt need enigma to make a viable build and enjoy the game. you do know that you can make a very good char by just farming NM TZ now, right ? 
on the other hand, if somebody does want to invest a lot of their time in the game itās only logical that they would reap more benefits and rewards (aka better tier items) than the players who invest only half the time.
in short, enigma, botd, infinity and all the top tier items should be something that only the most dedicated players have access to.
