Option to hide headgear

Blizzard please give us an option for hidding head gears, or like those circlets/Tiara/Diadem in the d2 legacy, what we have now are boring, our characters are heroes not soliders, soliders need helmets, heroes need to look cool, helmets are hardly heroic.

It’s a dungeons and demons game

If you equip a helmet it actually has to go on your head.

I like it the way it is personally

Everything about the game has grit. Right down to the items you equip are the items you are seen wearing.

transmog would be awesome but probably a pipedream for this old game i guess.

That was fun to read :joy:

Transmog on pvm would not hurt anyone and some legendaries could be finally worth finding

At least people are shifting back to nitpicking about visuals again… That’s a good sign that the game is heading somewhat in the right direction. :stuck_out_tongue:

While I understand and agree with the sentiment

I have to disagree

Why? Because this could be achieved through a less boring system

It could be done accompanied by a glorious system that improves the game, extends its playtime and makes all unique/set items valuable

With this system you can customize every piece of gear you own

Meaning you can just Personalize your shako into a Diadem to give a no-helm effect

uh … did u just say legendaries?

MALEFIC BLASPHEMY!

lulz

Transmog on pvm would not hurt anyone and some legendaries could be finally worth finding

so do the transmogs stop working when you hostile?

I enjoy items looking like what they are in pvp.
when my opponent is a sorc, I have a heads up to their build if they are wearing nightwings, shako, or a circlet.
or being able to tell if my opponent is wearing stormshield or spirit monarch. (thats a new d2r thing tho)

Should allow to transmog the zon face into a woman first

Same here. The top down lightning on presentation was a poor choice for her debut, as a single fine light source that is indirectly lighting the face greatly shows the contours of the face and creates sharp shadows, giving a more grizzled appearance.

Some believe she should look like she just left as the winner from a Miss Universe beauty pageant who just donned armor to fight the forces of evil. Full makeover, hairdo and all, along with a beauty lighting crew carrying the lights in the correct positions anywhere she goes. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, I am sure they spent thousands of hours rendering each helmet gfx on every character, just to turn around and allow it to be turned off…

Or option to hide face.

Made me think of the massive mobs of the bomb guys from Serious Sam. You’d hear something in the distance getting closer…

AHHHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHH

It’s all about choices… wanna look cool, or wanna operate.
You get to choose.
But i want my cake and to eat it too… it hurts.

That’s why Art transmuation(transmog) makes so much more sense in D2R

Everything looks better and renders 3D

Would be a dev time waste not to exploit it

Oh lord, using transmog and legendaries in the same sentence when talking about Diablo 2…brilliant

The Amazon’s headgear should stay on at all times. That is all. It should always have a full facemask.
