I tried everthing and nothing has restored my previous char… I cannot believe it, I still have the OG game I may as well have just played that… this never happened to me when playing the OG version.
That’s what happens when profit driven bureaucrats take over a company of people who were actually passionate about their work and put time tables and tight labor management in place. They are willing to write off those who have issues because they’ve done the math and determine that it’s still much more profitable to release something that is broken and deal with the blowback as opposed to taking their time and doing things right.
Same, got to Lut Gholen. Logged out. Logged back in, Druid is gone.
I cannot restore the character, even tried changing regions and back again. Nothing

I was playing and got disconnected. When I logged back in after being disconnected all of my characters were gone.
Characters are back, however now I cant play because they are already in a game 
All online characters are disappear. Only offline chars left.

My level 56 paladin was deleted when the update started. Will he come back after the scheduled maintenance or am I screwed?
I had Paladine nightmare act one
and soccerress nomal act one in progress only to find out all of them were gone !!
They are missing from character selection and it looks like they are all deleted for some reason.
I was playing on my Xbox Series X about 1230PM EST today and found my first unique. Gorefoots, never ID’ed them cus I had to leave, just looted them and left. It’s now 10:07 PM, just linked my Switch to my battlenet account and it was successful…except my boots and the other unidentified rares in my inventory are gone?
Is there some cross progression glitch going on?
Similar issue here. Did save and exit on Series X, logged onto PC, several items including horadric cube and base of staff were missing. Logged back into Series X and they were gone there, too. Only a minor inconvenience at this point but I’d like them to fix it (or figure out how to avoid it) before anything serious vanishes.
It’s sounding like they did a couple rollback restarts.
Good news now I can connect enough to to see my characters, bad news, “This character is already in a game on the server” -SIGH-

I had a lvl 61 sorc last night - logged off and went to work.
I logged in today and my character was gone…no char to choose.
Will this get fixed? And inb4 people saying i deleted it by accident, i didnt.

Same goes here both characters are gone.

I had the same thing following a DC. Its been 2 days still no sign of him.
