I was level 78 around 10 hours ago when the server crash happen
I did save and exit before it happen. But when i log back in now
My character is level 75 and the unique items i found are gone

I have the same problem here. I’ve created an paladin and played for almost 5 hours. When i saved and went back to menu my character that was lvl 15 rolled back to lvl 1. That’s insane !!!. An company that big can’t have problems like that. I’ve lost 5 hours that i’m never going to have back.

I lost progress as well. I’m only level 11 so didn’t lose as much as some, but still a bummer.

yes. I was playing waiting for a friend to get online, the one thing I noticed that was “off” was there was no lobby chat going on. That is normally popping off. I did a cube run so I could clear up space in my inventory, found unique items, two rare wands for my sorc, other gear in my shared stash, and everything is gone and even the cube. All I did was exit game to switch characters to grab the gear I set aside and it was all gone. My character is rolled back 3 levels as well.

Same here!
My only character in Diablo 2 was rolled back almost 8-10 hours… I went from Act 1, all the way to Act 5. Obtained multiple awesome items, and now they’re all gone. This is absolutely infuriating. Please, for the love of all that’s holy, please retrieve my gameplay/data… Please.

I was fighting Diablo at level 25 and it errored on me. Went back and it sent me back to level 19 and act 2 also! WTF BLIZZARD!?!?!?!

Same here played online solo for nearly 6h, game crash, battlenet update the game, start the game and i have my only character back to a freshly made level one. no quest completed, empty stash (personal and shared)…

I was at diablo… crashes on me after playing all day. at least 8 hours. it rolled me back to halfway thru act 2… how they gonna rectify this?

Can Blizzard just be honest and verify if these disappeared characters are for sure not being restored, so at least we can move on and remake the characters.

Lost progress better be recovered when I wake up tomorrow. No point in playing if everything you did can just be rollbacked.
