just lost 5 hours of progress on my online char. my brother seems to have his char intact

I didnāt lose much progress but after saving and exiting my game I lost about 4 hours of progress. Kind of a bummer. Might hold off playing until theres been a response.

i got the same result when i aquierd the slayer titel and got back 2 lvl 27 again

Same here. Went from lvl 1 to lvl 10 and all progress was lost when I āsave and quit.ā

Lost progress from 50+lv to 38ā¦ from 5act back in 2. Blizzard help. We are waiting for your comments on this situation

Same thing! I loose 6 levels, 2 acts and some loot gear. I hope they will fix that. I never saw something like that in any other game. Help !

The same just happened to me on a Paladin I went from level 1 to 13 and decided to swap characters. Lost all progress back to level 1. Would be great to get a blue post at least acknowledging this so I know when we can expect a fix.

yes, It would be really nice to know if we should just redo our lost progress, or if there is a possibility of getting it back i would play another character tonight.

I lost so many hours of play with this patch too, all of my items gone too. I really pushed so hard to get somewhere today too. Is there any way to recover this?

No one knows until Blizzard actually makes a blue post or update about it. Really gamebreaking bug for many players.

My brother and I affected alsoā¦ we started playing around 11am US ET and didnāt stop until our clients crashed around 10pm. We are rolled back just about all the way to the start of the day. I put in a ticket US*****290. Please help! 
Same thing. I was almost to hell, now Iām at the beginning of nightmare again. All experience and loot is gone

RIPād my sorc last night in A5 normal. Today, I play back through clearing the ancients. To save and exit to join a game for Baal and not lose another like yesterday. Only to join that Baal game in A1 at level 6.
Basically died againā¦ server RIP. Itās one thing to die on your own. Whole other for something like this to effectively ākillā hours of progress. Deep sigh.
Iād mentioned to my friends after the beta that Iād of rather they pushed back the launch and got things right rather than launching a buggy, messed up game. Was this never considered?? Youād piss people off backing up the launch date, sure. But, wouldnāt that have been better than this shi+ show???

Same crash and progress disappearingā¦ I hope this will be fixed and we get our charactersā progress back.
Online Character was rolled back. Had just completed hellforge NM and grabbed the WP at river of Flame. Got rolled back from lvl 56 to level 51 - all the way back to first quest act 2. Was not prompted to log off or forcibly disconnected. When I saved and exited my game, the progress was just gone.

Similar issue, been playing all day today. Full 8 hour session without a save. I load in to fight Duriel and he wrecks me over and over and over again as if my gear/level/stats mean nothing. I got so upset after dying/portaling like 10 times and losing all my cash I rage exit the game.
A BNet update applies, I log back in and Iām back to Act 1 and level 9ā¦ I have no words.

Same. Played my Amazon, level 1-13, got to Act 2. No crash on my end, just saved & exited, it was reset to level 1 when I came back. This is absolutely unacceptable, where is the dev response to this absolutely game-breaking bug?
