The current ladder started August 23. A 4 month restart would put the next ladder right around Christmas, which is a no-go. My guess is we’re either looking at a 3 month reset happening later this month or a 5 month reset happening late January '25. A reset later this month is also around Thanksgiving, so it may be a 5 month (or longer) reset. (Whatever least interferes with the D4 season schedule.)

As someone who hasn’t ladder-started since release, do they announce them or does it just happen and they go “BAM GO GET 'EM”?
Is it usually like 1 week warning, no warning, etc?

From last 3 ladders its like 2 weeks heads up. Look at PezRadar`s twitter feed. He is often the one to make the announcement.
I think the earliest we can see some info about reset is 14-16 of November, this would make a reset at 21 of November, before holidays.
Some say reset can be as late as January
