my guess would be another 1-2 months out, aug 23 is when season 8 started, iirc
4 months maths says end of december, but it may be another date. We’ll likely have info at some point in december.
they’ve PROMISED us 3 month ladder resets. it SHOULD be late nov.

They never did. They hinted at 4 months cycles
iirc they talked about / hinted at 4 months. But the last 2 seasons were only 3 months long if memory serves me right.
So you should have another 1 or even 2 months. Funnily, a pal of mine started his season char yesterday.
what’s your goal? hit 99? You can do it any time. Find items for longterm characters? Doesn’t matter if L or NL. Wanna play HCL? probably nobody around anymore.

Ladders:
Season 6 began February 15
Season 7 began May 23
Season 8 began August 23
These all were 3 months. I don’t think Blizzard has officially promised exact cycles, but going by historical trends, I would think we’d get a reset in late November. Which would also put the new ladder in time for the holiday event “nights of terror” or something like that they’ve been doing around Christmas.
Maybe they’re on a 3 months schedule, which would give the season at the end of november, and info on it earlier that month.
I wouldn’t call that a promise as BadHabits did, though.
Basically, the earliest you can expect info is early november, and the latest at some point in january. Low expectations on that schedule will avoid of frustration, and I’d strongly recommend not to hope for anything significant in the season.

D2:R is on a variable schedule that works best around Diablo 4’s schedule. D2 OG/D2:R is the can Blizzard keeps kicking down the road.
actually. ya they did… i don’t have the time or effort to pull it up but they did a poll and decided on 3 month vs 4 month. they’ve sort of tried to stick to it but have failed so many times 
but ya. on the RECORD as FAR AS I KNOW they agree’d to 3 month ladder resets and LATELY, have been doing better by it.
If 3 month ladder reset trend lasts im betting on 21 or 28 November. But thats optimistic.
