Ladder ends next week

A ptr is likely to only be 1-2 weeks, since it will not have a slew of balance changes. It’ll then take 1-2 weeks to finalize the patch and bring it live, ending ladder. Then new season begins 2 weeks later, which is the usual notice for D2 resets I believe. D3 did it quicker on this current run, but I think mostly due to them extending their ptr which gave them more of a chance to finalize patch quicker.

It actually wouldn’t surprise me if PTR started this Friday, which would be neat since it’s my weekend off.

Seriously? New ladder exactly when Wotlk classic drops? Bro they need to fix these schedules at Blizzard

pls fix the hit recovery problem in pvp… Not being able to stun at all has been destroying the game for us pvpers since 2.4

Thanks for the update, but I really hope some of your 2.4 changes get fixed as “bug fixes” then. I can’t get really excited over a new feature when I still grief over some features that “damaged” my playing experience with some classes/builds.

That’s not how I read it. It more sounds like they had no capacity in the team this round to also work on extensive balance changes.

There is nothing broken with 2.4

Yaaasssss, lets goooooooo

I bet this is lootfilter for 99% and can someone explain me why one Korean kid make it same think in one night, workings fine, right after d2r comes out, while blizzard needs for this huge update ptr and almost year to do this?

Give us a good lobby, good chat system, looking for group, bigger stash classic, item stacking

Thorns biggest issue has nothing to do with the damage it outputs. The fact of the matter is it relies on the monsters attack speed and them actually coming to swing at you. Monsters attack very slowly, and Their AI often derps out.

The end result is the thorns rarely goes off fast enough to be considered viable even with the changes they have already put into place.

The other issue is it’s physical damage and most monsters have ridiculous amounts of physical damage resistance. Which means even when they do attack you, all the damage is usually cut in half or more.

The Final Nail in the coffin for thorns damage in my opinion is Regeneration.

Even if Thorns was viable, the slow attack speed of the monsters gives them time in-between hits to regenerate before the next thorns procs. which almost completely negates the thorns damage.

I have a video on my channel testing a super thorns paladin build and the results were less than great.

Hahahhahahahaha… Oh you were serious?
I dont have the full list, but lets see, the big two were…
WW
FHR

Yes, and they are not broken. Just because they don’t work the way YOU want them to work in PVP doesn’t mean they are broken.

Agreed. I think most of their resources is tied to the development of D4, as it should be from a business perspective (new cash cow).

But FHR actually is broken because as was proven by testing quite often you are punished for having higher FHR breakpoint, which should not be the case ever, great implementation of PvP only change right chief ?

And WW seems to be bane of entire D2R engine since start.

3-5 more hours I assume until an update?

I hope it’s soon, been waiting all night and day now. Strung out on coffee. Too tired to remain awake and too wired to sleep.

I just hope the new feature isn’t “ladder to non ladder stash conversion”. While technically new, we already were aware it would happen.

The way Blizz words things, you never know.

Here’s to a currency tab!!
