If you are eligible for one that should grant it. Refunds are subject policies such as use of a product so if you got the bundle and used D3 that would impact the refund eligibility.

Funds are normally returned to accounts based on the policy of your bank. Typically 5-7 days. If you got it with Bnet balance the refund would be returned to your balance.

Single player doesn’t even work. I would like a refund as well.

Haha, this part is laughable. Sure I’ve played the game for a few hours last night, but the servers rolled back all my progress. So I was almost done with Act II and now my character is level 5 again… What a joke.

Thats cute, some fan boy thinks that this MULTIBILLION dollar company who fails at delivering a “remaster” of a 20 year old game, actually delivered.

Maybe if this game had micro transactions it would have launched better?

This is the catch “eligible”, you’ve launched the game now no refunds allowed.

Blizzard doesn’t have a refund policy. They consider all sales are final once the purchase is made or when the game has launched. Launching the game and playing it for a while may make someone not eligible for a refund.

While true, they do make exceptions and have an automated refund tool that grants it if you qualify. That is what I have been linking today. Anyone who qualifies for a refund would be automatically granted it.

Usually to qualify it has to be something like:

  • Pre-order of a game that is not released
  • No content is used from the game or bundle
  • Game has not been played to any appreciable amount - indicating it does not work.
  • Accidental wrong click on purchase site - asking for a refund fast is required for this. Obviously also unplayed.

Now there are other circumstances where the auto refund denies it, but a GM can over ride that.

This article here gives a bit of insight into the refund process when talking about how and when funds are returned when one is granted.

If you have played more than 10 hours, a refund will not happen.

It’s possible to get a refund, keep trying and reopening tickets. Share posts on socials about how bad the servers are and the nonstop crashes.

If you still can’t get a refund, issue a chargeback. This game is an absolute disgrace and months to years away from being ready for release.

The GM told me that I enjoyed the game before they locked out the players with a 1-2 hour queue, and that is enough by their standards for me to have gotten my money spent out of the game.

Pathetic.

This is good advice. I got an immediate credit when I showed them the “customer service” (more like customer disservice) conversations.

This is the route that I am guessing most people would need to go this far into the game being out. As a note to others browsing:

  • The chargeback will lock your BNet account from future purchases
  • Nintendo Switch, from other posts, is giving eShop credit/refund if you bought through that

Although I am not interested in a refund I do thin Blizzard needs to offer a refund period due to the issues that are especially prevalent in the morning (US timezones).
