I’m 33 years old. I have better things to do than spend 100+ hours trying to get enough value for 1 rune.
Maybe you don’t value your time, but I value mine.

Heh… What you fail to get is that at any time, that rune might drop… 100 hours in, 1000 hours, or just 1 hour in. Welcome to the digital RNG slot machine game known as Diablo 2, where every monster you kill, every chest you open is a pull of the lever.
It definitely isn’t going to drop while you’re sitting here complaining on the forums. So get back to farming. 
I have realistic expectations where I don’t need a jah to believe I’m not wasting my time.
I enjoy running all the 85 areas and bosses, loot drops or it doesn’t.
I don’t complain on a forum when I can’t get a low drop rate item to drop like you.
It seems you should play a different game if you consider it wasted time if you arnt getting what you want when you want it.
At 33 you should understand life isn’t about handouts yet here you are calling drop rates trash while the core players that were here b4 d2R have no issues.
I find it funny that you’re 33 and say you time is valuable then you say you e been spending 12 hours a day playing since summer started.
Anyways keep complaining because the world owes you…especially blizzard.

Well a large part of the reason that I’m so pissed is that I cannot bring myself to play anymore.
I’ve always seen Diablo as a game of progression. I haven’t made any progress in about 50 or 60 hours and I don’t think if I put in another 10 hours today anything will come of it.
It’ll just be another hundred plus chaos runs with absolutely nothing, I hate it I can’t do it anymore.
This insinuates that groups do not still have trash drop rates. This would be false. Keep in mind a group of 8 players would be splitting the loot 8 ways… and in my experience the drop rates feel the same (specifically: no high runes dropping… so that is the same as solo. 0 = 0 )
That’s the way it goes though. You occasionally get lucky, most of the time you don’t.
As you collect more and more gear, your scope of desirable items narrows, further reducing your perceived “luck”.
The game itself doesn’t care what drops. It rolls a random number, if it matches, the item drops. If it doesn’t match, something else drops.
Yes, wanting slightly higher drop rates means i want enigma handed to me.
You are correct. It is amazing that I made it to 33 years of age solely on handouts and expecting everyone to give me everything for free. My house was given to me for free, there is no mortgage bill I simply told them I want to hand out and they gave it to me , the car was given to me for free my cell phone bill get paid every single month for free my life insurance get paid every month for free.
I asked my boss for a raise at work and he said why don’t I just give you everything you want for free?
I told him you two should hang out.

Oh yeah with everything being given to me for free I get to just chill at home all day.
Also there’s no such thing as project-based work or Contracting if you work a job it has to be year round 5 days a week otherwise you are lying.
I would ask my boss for time off but he just give me the whole year off (paid) since everything with you is incredibly hyperbolic.

There is no point in non-ladder. That is why the mode is dead.
Found 3 HRs in 2 days. So easy. Then I found more items and bases, also worth 2 HRs.
Being wealthy is easy in D2R ladder. That is why economy is dead within 1 month. Don’t even get me started on non-ladder mode lol.
Since you can have ANYTHING you want in ladder mode within 2 months…why would anyone play non-ladder? Well, to each his own.
Yes, running around chaos sanctuary 1-2shotting everything while listening to podcasts is very difficult. You are a master compared to us plebs.
We can only aspire to be on your level, diablo 2 is a REALLY, REALLY HARD GAME [said no one, EVER].

i am 52 and have no issues
if you can not find the items
or items you need to trade for said items
maybe try another game
this games drops are fine as is

i found 2 jah in 3 days. and a ber the other day, i could’ve legit made my own enigma this ladder. but it’s a trash armor i never want to wear.
