Honestly, I had no clue/idea there were bots running for D2R, they certainly aren’t doing it in public games like in days of old. And I haven’t really seen any impact of these theoretical bots on high runes or anything, unless they’re all colluding and price fixing to keep prices high or something…idk, I just don’t see that or buy that being a thing. But you make a great point, I honestly don’t care if someone else bots, far as I’m concerned they’re cheating themselves, not me. I’ll still be out there helping others playing the game having fun.
Then they will all just use sorcs…
You do understand that the primary reason bots were made is so that you will swipe your credit card?
As for now. Duping and bots are not rampant. Items are not poofing, Economy has not plummeted.
Provide proof, report them, or sit down.
Provide proof.
Jsp is a really interesting topic because it’s system is the optimal way to trade. But that same system does not reset for every ladder, thus makes the system also massive cheating. Plus you can just buy the currency. Since it is massive cheating, it has to go. But I would love if Blizzard made their own version of it that resets every ladder. That would be fantastic. No credit cards. Everyone starts with 500 of the currency or something every reset.
In order to stop the problem then Blizzard needs to bar trading during ladder. Do that and it ends the entire problem. I just posted a topic about a new scam people are doing which ties into this exact topic.
Here is the link:
I’ve seen games like you described. I’ma check it out and try to confirm your observations for myself because I’m curious
Same ppl botting last few years are doing it still, in d2r. Its just not in public “bawlzz-079” games now that we connect through the modern bnet/btags.
I don’t really know what it does to the economy.
Maybe without them and old/new money fg we probably would stop seeing things like magics, rares and 100%'ers going for double digit Ber runes each. Who knows.
But yeah, any even semi popular game with a trading economy will have bots. And d2r script writers had a huge head start haha
report this user , posting and promoting and link hack software on blizzard forum , thank you
Or… We could blame bots… Seems to be the root issue.
Reported. Blatant promotion of bots is blatant.
i have np too talk and share opinion about the issue
but the forum is not the place to post link for ilegal software to hack the game
My reply to you wasn’t about the bot. I reported the bot. You blamed enigma for having bots. Bots have been in this game since day one. The root cause of bots is Blizzard.
And yes, more people report the guy that posted the advertisement for bots.
Why on earth would you report someone who linked a youtube proving bots exist?
Really, do you think that is going to stop bots or people using trading sites that sell gear obtained by them?
Bots are a symptom of the way the game is designed; as long as there’s a demand for hard to find items there are going to be bots to meet that demand.
this strategy was learned from the boomers and the boomers learned it from their parents. I DID NOT LOSE THE ELECTION! IT WAS STOLEN. please bruh, wake up and smell the roses. boomers always blaming the new gen. for everything they f’d up. and when the new gen tries to fix things and change things for the better, boomers be screaming!
The vast majority of HR’s are being collected by actual players at this time. If you see a player with an inventory full of ber/jah, then that means they traded for them, not botted. It’s not that hard, if a player is lucky enough to find a truly GG rare or crafted item, or perfectly rolled tc87 unique, then these items can easily go for 10-20 (or more) ber runes. You would only need to get lucky with a GG item once to find your inventory full of bers.
Ya, like they do not ban folks. You do not know bliz. The issue is folks make new accounts when banned. It takes about a week to get up to end game, then they can bot away again. You cannot fix it, they tried IP banning, folks got around it, they tried banning by mac address, folks can spoof it. So these days they just close your account, you buy another and they make another 40$. IMO
Statistics prove that, not boomer speculations, zoomer.
Out of curiosity, what difference does it make? With the game being largely non-competitive.
