I would find it awesome to change the venom skill a bit like, doing a poison cloud when you kill and enemy or something like this, or making it work like rabbies.
Burst of speed and Fade can now be used at the same time, but each have 50% of their effect
Shadow master and warrior become a synergy for one another giving +1 clone per 10 hard points
Shadow master and warrior can be used at the same time
Shadow master and warrior exclusively use you highest level skills
Wake of inferno: like inferno, it now triggers thunder storm like beams of fire to fall down on nearby monsters while channeling
Blade fury: now a timed duration, so you can start walking and you will still throw the ahuri le but at a damage penalty
blade sentinel: now works like a minion and follows you, when multiple target are nearby, it spends 1 sec swirling on each
martial art are reworked to have half of their damage be converted weapon damage. Ie: blades of ice is now flat cold+50% phys as cold+cold added damage
In D2R, the assassin is only an assassin by name, and in the actual game, he is portrayed as a magician.
It has been described as performing witchcraft rather than setting traps (hunting?) and trying to assassinate.
The decisive reason is that there is no stealth skill.
Why do you need the hide(stealth) skill?
The portrayal of the assassin is portrayed as a character who makes a raid without being detected by the enemy due to high agility and movement speed instead of low defense.
So, it is necessary to change the current skill as follows.
-
If a fade is cast in the burst state, it is duplicated, but if an attack or a wide-area attack takes a hit, the fade skill is immediately canceled and returns to the burst skill.
-
When using a fade in burst state and casting Cloak of shadow skill, it is not caught on the enemy screen or map for 5-10 seconds (flexible depending on skill level).
The enemy’s field of vision becomes 1 and the defense is lowered compared to the skill level.
However, if it is detected by an enemy (the assassin receives damage by wide-area magic), or if the assassin takes an aggressive action, it will appear on the screen immediately.
It’s probably similar to WoW’s rogue class. However
No matter how much buffing and remodeling of the Martial Arts skills are, there is very little balance that an assassin can do in the current situation.
Even with 10-15 shots wake of fire is still useless until Blizzard make one of the two changes
- remove next hit delay
- increase the gap between each flame wave.
You are looking at blade skills completely wrong
Let’s start with BF: it is one of the strongest skills in d2 now that it received synergy bonus from Blade sentinel and blade shield. How strong are we talking about? You can technically use Clegclaw’s set and kill Hell Ancients in 8ppl difficulty., without fortitude and phoenix shield. It is true that it needs help with some AR issues; however, there are much works around for Blade fury, especially with 2.4 with its crazy damage.
As for blade sentinel: it also gets a major buff in 2.4, and the damage is slightly less than BF. The real issue for blade sentinel is not damage, but next hit delay. Next hit delay is what causing damage to blade sentinel, otherwise it is a very good skill for AOE effect.
As for blade shield…the 1 second duration does sucks. However, it can be enhanced by +300-400 dmg off grief. It is a beast of it’s own but certainly need some work on it’s trigger requirement.
Are u even thinking straight? Using grief just to make a useless skill a little bit useless and make the main skill useless cuz greif doesn’t work with BF? u kdding me?
i would remove corpse explosion from her
the same way i would remove fire golem from necs
haha lol I hope you’re joking
I have no idea what end game item you are using. But pne thing i can tell you: Beast is FAR from best weapon for bf
And btw, some Korean manage to use bf and bs to kill ppl in pvp settings
And lastly. Grief on blade shield is far from useless. It has dofferent use and builds for it .
Playing for long doesnt mean you know how to play unfortunately
Oh sorry did I say beast? I actually meant death rw that’s why i said 390ed. But if u were keen enough to know where I was inclining to, I dont give a sht about pvp. Like i said “clear speed” and “clearing effeciently” is what I’m pushing for. And yes grief for BF sin is useless cuz of what I stated or what has been a fact since forever. the +dmg from grief does not affect BF damage and proc speed for BS is sht . Show me a situation where blade shield is effective for pve using grief. Stop saying some people did this or did that give me a specific situation where blade sentinel is worth casting at all instead of just using BF. Show me you maxroll calculations. Ill show u mine:
d2.maxroll.gg/d2planner/o60206o8#4
The player in the video is not even using grief ffs u know why? Cuz he’d be sacificing too much dmg potential for not using his pvp claws and and instead using grief for extra BS damage.
Recognizing that the +damge from grief affects BS doesn’t change the fact that the item is not wasted on the build cuz it just is. there are far “better” for the lack of a better term, weapon choices for the build rather than using grief.
I agree removing next hit delay would be nice, however you can play around it - just place your Wake of Fire traps not next to each other, but in line towards the target.
Blade shield should work like blade fury, not use durability and function with stats and enhanced damage. Also, elemental ma skills need a major buff or reworked mechanics. Venom duration should be halved.
no joking
it makes no sense for assassin to have CE
The only item class you should use with Blade Fury are claws. If it isn’t obvious why let me explain. You get claw mastery which boosts your damage considerably. Next, you get .75% enhanced damage for every dex and str point. Lastly, we finally have an attainable claw to support the build, Plague. The only claw that can outperform Plague is an eth rare fools claw. The added + skill adds 40 raw damage per lvl, you can get a +2 plague claw with 3 staff mod, this will be like a 200 base damage + weapon damage just from the skills alone. You can use what ever weapon you want but a decent claw will always outperform any other weapon. Last thing to add is enhanced damage on your weapon does not transfer to enhanced damage to the skill + damage. People used to think this about smite and once upon a time it was thought that Breath of the Dying Phase Blade was the way to go. Eth Beast is ok, Eth Doom Berserker Axe is ok, Eth Last Wish is a pita to use because it procs fade. Claws are your only true option with this build!
It’s more than that. The next hit delay also affects the initial 5 waves from the wake of fire resulting in only 2 to 3 waves actually doing damage instead of all 5, essentially doing just half of what it supposed to perform. This is way I say they either need to remove NHD or increase the gap btween waves.
Mindblast no longer converts enemies and only stuns.
Very annoying for other players especially during speed runs.
Or converted enemies still take damage. Conversion is very important for solo play.
Just make Blade Fury ricochet…
