Warzone come on

My dude! Been looking everywhere trying to get a fix and this actually worked. Thank you so much!

Deleting Citrix Workspace App worked for me. Game is launching again!

can someone help me pls :c I donā€™t have citrix, i have sophos and I already tried to do the files but it didnt work :frowning:

Step 5 worked for me also - MANY THANKS !!!

What I got from Support

Iā€™m sorry to hear that youā€™re experiencing problems to launch Modern Warfare since the update. I know that it can be frustrating not being able to enjoy a game.

I wish I could help you but youā€™re not in the right place for that. Blizzard is only distributing the game, we didnā€™t develop it. For any problem beyond the installation, itā€™s the Activision support that youā€™ll need to contact :

For me it did actually turn out that my windows firewall was preventing launch. This whole time Iā€™ve been adding moderwarfare.exe and the launcher to the exception list, but I really needed to add the battlenet.exe app and launcher to the list. Game booted up without issue after that. Hope this helps someone.

someone can explain me how to do it with sophos?

Iā€™m glad deleting Citrix helped for a lot of youā€¦ drop a follow on Twitch if you would be so kind.

Follow for follow welcomed!

Got the same problem. Tried pretty much every suggestion. Looks like iā€™ll just have to sit back and wait for an update in a month or three.

WOOW zios007.

This is the answer , if you have COMODO follow step 5! What a LEGEND!

STEP 5 for all those who have COMODO, This guy is a legend! Thank you so much. Activision should hire you!

Only works for people having comodoā€¦

It was bloody citrix for me too. Uninstalled and now Warzone starts. Then I now re-installed Citirx because I need it. Now Warzone doesnā€™t start again. So now everytime I want to play I need to uninstall Citrix

You guys are welcome. Iā€™m glad Iā€™ve been able to help.

So then the answer for those having COMODO Antivirus or Firewall follow these steps:

  • Go to: Settings > Advanced Protection > Miscellaneous > Donā€™t detect shellcode injections in these applications. Add the game folder ā€œCall of Duty Modern Warfareā€

That should do the trick.

Hope it can help many others (it took me more than 12h to figure it out, but made it)

I would say that you have a program blocking something from the game too. You will need to figure it out. Check Windows Firewall or whatever Firewall you are using or Antivirus.

This happened to me too after the update. I either tried everything said here or didnā€™t have the apps they were talking about. I was planning to reset my PC in two weeks when I graduate from college but choose to do it today with hopes that it fixes the problem. So I reseted my pc which deleted everything in it and I redownload Battle Net App and installed Warzone and IT WORKED! Now I know not everyone is going to go and reset their PC but I wanted to tell you guys that since I was going to reset my PC in two weeks anyways I did it today to see if this fixed the problem and it did. So I think there is definitely multiple different apps that are blocking warzone from launching after the update. The question is which app in your PC is the one blocking warzone from launching.

If you have anti-malware software, add the game to the exceptions or uninstall the program.

I had Emsisoft Emergency Kit and now Warzone works.

you found any solution?

Can someone pin this post everywhere! Took me hours and so many test for such an easy solution!!! Thank you

Uninstalling Citrix fixed the problem for me
