they said to try your hotspot, it may or may not work, the business ip you were on is probably flagged
i saw what they said. and Iām saying I only used my wifi and mobile hotspot connection. the mobile hotspot is a nat 3 so Iām assuming thatās what they called a buissness connectionā¦ reguardless its been 2 weeks and I still cant play on either connection. still waiting for someone to tell me why.
Plz fix I have waited my 2 weeks done nothing wrong anyways. This is a huge disappointment.

Thanks for this info I appreciate it. Iām being temporarily restricted from the server, i assume for logging in too quickly, and I am wondering if this is due to the rampant bot problem. I logged in and out of three games relatively quickly twice today, once to mule and once to Baal run, and was banned both times. I can promise you Iām not technically proficient enough to even think of using a bot. is this a measure to stop botting because I believe it is a bit heavy handed
I got f uckin booted with a Temporary Restriction for transferring items. This game canāt identify real bots between people bots like myself. Wtf are they doing to this game? The forum gold shlt is ridiculous enough as it is. But now Iām rolled in with the bots and kicked out? This is lame af.

Transfering items is not against the rules. What may be flagging your accounts is how quickly you enter and/or exit games and/or login and logout. But and as things are now, legits and botters are equally getting hit by the temp bans. You can try guessing and/or using every analysis mechanism and probability theorem possible. But, I think that these temp time outs and bans may be like that 'til the servers stabilize. We just have to have patience. Blizzard is working on it.

iWasntThere have they put out any guidance on the bans? like am I going to get penalized for continuously trying to log in? How long are the bans? This is my second time being banned so can I expect a longer ban this time? The last one lasted only about 15 minutes.

Man, I hope Iām not banned for 72 hours, or 2 weeks, or permanentlyā¦ for trying to get some space in my main characterās inventory and moving some gems and unique items to othersā¦
Hello, I have the same issue, i have been trying to log in and playing until i got the mesaage āServer Downā. After that, I have a message in my character list that i have a ātemporaryā Ban. Any ideas of why? how long is it going to last? I have had the same message with a 5-15 min ban but now i haven`t been able to log in in a couple of hours. Please Help

Did Blizzard update what causes the temporary restriction? Itās happened to me three times tonight doing normal things. Like only a few games in a 10 or 15 minute window. Seems a little excessive. Meanwhile I still saw several Baal bot games goingā¦
Edit: Or is it just a glitch and Iām getting randomly booted out?

When muling, try to spend 7 to 10 seconds in game, the same amount out of game. When selecting your char and/or logging out and in, do not rush it. Delay those actions, too. And, remember, each character joining a game is adding to your max games per hour or per 12 hours. I cannot confirm the accuracy of this, but peeps say itās 100 games per 12 hours. I have never played that many games even in a week. So, I cannot confirm that.

I had joined far fewer games than that and spent several minutes at least in each one. Havenāt checked today to see if I can get back in.
I logged in for the first time today and spent about 10 minutes in a single game I made. Upon exiting, I got a temporary restriction. Ugh first one this ladder. I was so excited since there finally wasnāt a queue to make a game.

From what I can tell, Blizzard may be working on their servers. It may have nothing to do with your IP nor your regular game creations nor your muling where you are taking a fair bit of time as a cautionary pause between getting your mules. Server instability due to a recent ddos attack as well as due to numerous server maintenance attempts.
Just be patient. Legits as well as botters are equally wondering about everything. It may resolve after a few days. Maybe weeks. Itās hard to predict as it depends on what work needs to be done to stabilize the servers.
Iād say to have patience with the process. Fun game, but its multiplayer parts may have their challenges.
