seem to have trouble connecting to west at times. takes forever or sometimes cant connect at all.
I am having problems with login, and the issue seems not to be at my end as this issue has been raised by just about everyone else active on the realm. US West. Please rectify. Game is unplayable at the moment.
Please fix the Connecting to Battle.Net problems.

why does it take 15-25 minutes to login to battle.net from diablo 2 lod v 1.14D? and once the login screen finally appears you type in your credentials click login and guess whatā¦ youāve been disconnected from battle.net againā¦ this happened to me 3 times in a row going on 4th now. AND how long does it take to check a game version? seriously? is this a tactic to get you to upgrade to the new diablo2 resurrected thing? its not even out yet stop breaking the login at least until we are able to purchase the upgrade.

Having the same problem with all servers,i canāt connect to any on them. Stuck at Cheking versions and then just the try again in a few minutes msj. Please we need a fix for this.

This thread is for a separate issue where people can connect to the realms, but create/join public games.
For what you are describing though, the only realm that is currently experiencing connection issues is USWest. If you canāt connect to any realm, you may be under a temporary play restriction.
Oh i see, well ty for helping, iāll wait 48 hs. Sorry i posted in the wrong thread.
There are some temporary restrictions that are longer, up to 14 days. Two examples of the 14 day restrictions are use of a business IP and use of a VPN.
I just mention in case youāre still unable to connect after 48 hours.
I have no problem getting into the D2 East realm but the D2 West realm consistently snags on āChecking Versionsā¦ā several times before eventually making it to the login page. It takes like 3-5 attempts on average before I can reach the login page. BTW I live in California I donāt know if that makes any difference.
It appears āsomething happenedā last night (night of 25-26 June). SUDDENLY, for some reason, it is no big deal to get on USWest.
i was at work the other day and i came home to get on diablo only to find that i have a wait time of 1.8 millionā¦ I have no idea what caused this or why but i would like to be able to play again, how do i fix this???

I find it interesting and suspicious that after starting work onDiablo II Resurrected that Diablo IIās servers start having more and more issues until they finally seemingly go down for good yup Very Suspicious 
They are not down for good. The issue of people not being able to log in was resolved several days ago. Iāve been able to log into all four realms without any issues.
Unable to get past āchecking versionsā on US West. I have been able to connect to US East.
Please keep working on this we need a fix before D2R.
(btw this has been going on for days)
This has been going on since April. Still not fixed.
Canāt believe this is happening, why would blizzard do such a thing, I really hope they they get there act together.

It is 1:55 AM, BattleNet/Diablo 2 LOD is off line! During the programs initialization process, it stops at āConnecting To BattleNetā¦Checking Versionsā and goes no further. While playing the game, I have also noticed many little glitches, that would normally be taken care of by routine maintenance. I hope that this doesnāt affect D2R when it is released. The lack of maintenance will NOT appreciated by D2R players that crossover from D2LOD!!!
