Please do the temporary fix so we can play this weekend!!! It is basically impossible to create a game right now!! This is crazy we have to beg for support on this game.
This is insane. Me and my cousin came back to play online, and I canât believe the game is being deprecated and sidelined like this. Come on blizzard, where all your feathers have gone?
We have to wait 1 hour each time to play so we can create a game.

To symbolized they were able to fly before. Now they are a joke. My dream was to work for that company. Now I would not accept a job there for 200k a year. Blizzard, I hope you never remastered Diablo II like you have done Warcraft III cause you will break it even more. It is an old game I know, but a company like Blizzard should and could be able to keep it alive with minimal support. It really shows they are on a downward spiral.

Hey , what about the diablo II queues on all realms ? If u are working on a fix but u dont have ETA , atleast fast reboot servers every 1 or 2 days to get rid off the queues for 2 days , untill they come back , then reboot servers again and so on , untill u have ready fix which will stop the queues at all!
Dear Blizzard support team and dev team,
Long server queues are also affecting the EU servers now. Within the space of 2-3 weeks, the wait time for creating a new game has gone up from a few seconds to a 2 minutes to 5-10 minutes, to now about 25 minutes. This has been exacerbated recently after a server outage approximately 2 weeks ago.
Please add the EU issues to your investigation.
We just need to hold out a bit longer, I believe something is coming⌠It must be something good, because they wonât give us any details about this âfixâ theyâre working on, not even something as simple as an ETA on what theyâve been working on for over a year now. With all of the secrecy and the progressive decay (disbanding?) of the servers, the only logical assumption at this point is that a Diablo II Remaster is in the works. The only other path is complete abandonment of the game, which they havenât done yet.
I just hope that IF a D2 Remaster is in the works, they follow the path they took remastering Starcraft. If itâs anything like what they did with War3, Iâll consider my D2 days over with.
If it ultimately comes down to a complete abandonment of the game, it was a hell of a run, and I thank Blizzard for the fun times. Any other game company would have long ago abandoned the game.

So with the long game creation times I am noticing a new approach by players going on. The games already created are what you might call getting fully farmed. I enter a game and go to everyoneâs favorite areas like we all wouldâŚCountess, Mephisto etc⌠Trouible is EVERYONE is jumping on those areas and I suspect many are using some form of what used to be called maphack . I find there is NO WAY in HELL I am able to get to anything before anything of worth is gone for me at my level now. More power to those players using those add-ons if that is the way they want to play but I am left with practically zero options. Create my own games? Ya right! I create one and wait so long I get to minimize the game and can go watch 6 or 7 videos on You tube while I wait. This gets quite boring. To say I am getting discouraged is putting it mildly. The problem has been ongoing for almost half a year now. The fix I suggested a small monthly fee to have improved servers that can carry the load does not meet with approval of many players so what to do? Walk away? I am on Government assistance so cannot buy these newer games along with newer PC that can play them anyway which is beside the point I suppose. But still if a game is going to be continued support for online play should play better than this. My vote goes with a small fee for more adequate servers. I can understand Blizzard not wanting to put a lot of money into servers for a 20 year old game. I can manage $5 a month for my favorite game. The rest of you?..come on only $5!!!

you keep saying in other posts that customers have to post in general discussion but there no one answers at all, not a single post by the devs since it happen
at least communicate with the community and not telling them to post in a dead end forum

Just as a side note, the discussion forums are not two-way communication points with Bliz. They are simply a repository for feedback, suggestions, etc that the developers monitor. A developer (or a CM as a proxy) can post if they need to communicate something, but it isnât to be expected. But know that they do watch the forums.

Luckily, I can say with confidence, that is not the case. The game queues issue is being investigated. Itâs a complicated problem that Bliz wants to resolve with a single permanent solution, rather than with temporary, band aid fixes. Unfortunately, that can make it seem like nothing is being done due to nothing being said. But there is indeed work being done.

I have a solution. Add a captcha check upon game creation⌠boom no more bots. No more queue problem.

CAPTCHA will only be a temporary roadblock, there are several projects that can correctly guess them with high accuracy. All the bot makers would need to do is integrate it into the bot, then weâre back where we started⌠Except the legitimate players would then have to enter a CAPTCHA every time.
Untill they find permament fix they can easy reboot the servers once per day or once every 2 days, since that is the time needed the queues come back !
i just have no other options, just looking for games like act 1 nm start etc, and go kill mephisto or something⌠cause you cannt create game basicaly, it always stuck on some number.
Regarding the âstuck numberâ on your queue, lots of reporting that they get stuck like #x in queue⌠YOU CAN JOIN THIS GAME, if you click cancel and you are able to join it since its created by server, thats one of the bug that causes this server behaviour, cause there are so many ghost gamesâŚ

This issue has been from beginning to end of this season, which is why the players feel nothing is being done (which is the case). Blizzardâs (Activisions) placebo response of âweâre working on itâ is an insufficient response at this point.
