Brilliant! This worked for me on Windows 10 (21H2, 19044.1645)
There should be a patch which incorporates this.
Thank you!
My Battlenet doesn’t even start anymore… Tried reinstalling it and done the folder thingy but nothing helps… Starting to get rlly annoyed. I just started playing Diablo 3 again since like 2012 when it came out and just bought RoS but felt like it was just a waste of money when I can’t even play it… Thnx Blizzard
I hope my solution helps you all. I run Windows 7 Pro 64bit. I found in another WoW troubleshooting thread a fix where the person posted a link to a dll executible download file from Microsoft’s website to run. It was for the 32bit version (x86), so I had to search the 64bit version of the same file (x64). I found on microsoft’s website a file called Windows6.1-KB3004394-v2-x64.msu. I downloaded it and ran it, and it required a reboot of my system. After that, my Battle.net opened just fine.
Before that, every time I ran Battle.net, I would get the same “missing dll” error message. No matter what I did, whether deleting the “Battle.net.13434” folder (which is the only folder I had in my Battle.net directory), or uninstalling/reinstalling/etc . . . nothing worked. Except that Windows6.1-KB3004394-v2-x64.msu file I downloaded from Microsoft.
It appears the workarounds others have been posting don’t work on Windows 7 32bit or 64bit, from what I’ve been reading. But running that file I described above did the trick. I hope this helps you all.
Hey all just checking back in , KB3004394 install has not helped the issue for me. I am on windows 7 pro 32 bit. I dunno man
Same DLL problem here.
just can´t open it.
Wait for news…
OK FIX FOR ME!!! TRIED everything 1st incl all C++ uninstall, re… no dice still "Missing DLL $!@#$#^$@^$&@#$*(@&(! took a day off after doing all that and trying then to just install over existing… tried searching for DLL, no dice… Somehow, some reason tried file by file and in SC2, below editor there is SC2Switcher, that logged me in no issues to battle net just had to re-enter credentials… Hope it helps… Only thing that worked for me. tried literally everything else on forum, overpowered custom PC just running old windows 7 home with as few windows updates as possible… Really hope that helps someone i feel the frustration there is nothing worse imo…

IF you cant fins sc2switcher in sc2 folder like I could not see it just type into search box in your file browser it will find it it is in the support folder Bro PlusFOUR THANKS MAN
I Love how ouor community can come togethr to help each other out when there is a problem gj every one that heklpd I will be checking in until this is resolved for every one if theres any way I can help . If only ppl could get each others backs this good irl , and nobody made us do it or controlled us we did it ourselves GLHF
Blizzard hasn’t fixed this problem for so many days. It’s estimated that they don’t intend to fix it. As long as the 13434 folder is deleted and replaced with other versions of the folder, the problem of lack of DLL won’t appear
I have such an error now APPCRASH, StackHash_a603
This is not that simple. I’m unable to install the game (W3), because first thing what installer does is installation/update of battle.net client. So even if I replace the folder manually it gets always rewritten by installer and right after it crashes immediately on dll error so installation process is cancelled. Unless there is a way to install the game independently, without the need to install/update battle.net client during the process, I’m done. If somebody knows how to do it, please let me know.
Blizzard this is not funny! It’s almost a week since this issues started and I’m still not able to run the game. Either revert to previous battle.net version (it is clear at this point that there was no such a wide spread issue with previous version), release the fix or advise users on what is causing this issue and how to fix it permanently!
same sht here 3 days of reinstall by dowload a full bnet file from a friend and today crash again, abo deleted and F** Y**
This message popped up for me this morning on my desktop. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue, including reinstalling the app multiple times, deleting old files, reinstalling Windows 10, I decided to install the battle.net app on my laptop. The app installed on my laptop the first time without issue.
My PC runs:
I am running Edition Windows 10 Home
Version 21H2
Installed on 4/21/2022
OS build 19044.1466
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0
My laptop Windows Specifications are almost identical, except the OS Build is 19044.1465 and the Windows Feature Experience Pack is 120.2212.4170.0
My uneducated guess is that there was a Windows update overnight that affected caused a conflict with the Battle.net app.
Thx you!!!
Works!
Usunięcie wszystkich plików z rejestrów, ponowne instalacje, itp nic nie daje! dalej brak DLL
