It starts downloading the 4.7mb file, but before reaching even 50% it says “Failed - Network error”. Tried restarting my computer, turning off and on the internet, disabling windows defender and firewall and nothing happened. Any thougts?

I searched an external source. Found this: (so I actually can’t post links here, but I googled “battle net download” and downloaded it from a site called Vessoft).
It seems suspicious at first, but there’s no malware or anything of the sort at all. It worked for me and I’m already playing.

I have the same problem, also I cant renew my wow subscription due an error in the payment process 
download microsoft edge and then download battlenet
We have a sticky post on this issue and gathering reports for the failed network error.
Please try the suggestions on this thread, and if it persists, please provide the connection test requested on this post.
