I’ve only found a similar post to my issue which is from one year ago: WoW sub time glitched
I’ll do my best to recall anything that helps in tracking the problem.
1- I have played WoW untill 2020, I didn’t buy Shadowlands.
2- A couple of months ago when I reclaimed the Shadowlands gift for returning players, I still did not bought more sub time.
3- On the 16th of September I used retail’s option to buy sub time with game gold and started playing WotLK
4- Noticed that app subscription expires was going down faster than it should.
5- Checked with the web that the Subscription expires date differs.
It seems that the App is substracting days from time to time:
Yesterday it showed that sub expired the 14th of October (which was already wrong) and 7 days remaining
Today it shows sub expires the 12th of October with 5 days remaining.
Meanwhile the web shows that it ends the 16th of October.
Yeah, got the same.
I recognized it first time couple of month ago. Sometime muchg less time, later more again, but seldom the correct remaining time.
Since online in the account details the correct time is shown and I could always play until the time mentioned within the account details online, wasn’t a to big issues.
But now, month later, the issue is still there and I was wondering, why nothing happens.
Searching a bit I recognized:
a. seems like this is only an issue for very small amount of player (or only few recognize it)
b. it was an issue already in 2021 and it is still not fixed? Not a great handling of the app.
I mean: come on, it is just showing a value “Date and time in database of end of subscription” - “current date and time”. This should be even from development point of view no to big issue.
I have the same bug still today. App shows 22th September but real date is today 26th September on website. App shows 4 Days left, but means expired 4 days ago?
I used a 30d wow token but no idea if it relates. I never logged in on another pc. Restarting app did fix it now. Maybe related to hibernation of pc.
