Republic Wireless doesn’t work for me. I had been curious about the new Call of Duty games and was going to try the free one to decide if I wanted to purchase the others, but if they can’t even manage programming a simple Account Setup screen without screwing it up, why should I pay them money for a full game? I guess I’ll just stick with the ones I already have.

This must be one of the dumbest things I’ve experienced online LUL. What kind of phone number verification system are they using in Blizzard? How is it that I can’t use my phone number which has been used without any issue with any other companies online?

i use my postpaid phone no, it says invalid. when i use my prepaid phone no, its valid. how come? LOL.
I have had to dance with support for the last 4 days now and I am losing my mind. At this point I am considering just giving up on playing their games and it hurts because I love Diablo and Starcraft but with stupid issues like this and taking 3 days to get me access back into my account my frustration is boiling over to the point I not only want to not recommend Blizzard to anyone, I want to campaign about how horrible they are and it’s not worth playing their games, I want to make sure anyone considering playing steers a different direction because god forbid you need some assistance with there service. They might as well send me spit as a response.

Get warzone it will be fun they said. Cod is a good game they said. It will be easy to download they said. BLIZZARD SUCKS BALLS are you fr gonna not let me make you money because you are ball sack of a company like how are you gonna exclude a large about of people just because of there cell provider like they are losing money what do they have to lose from letting us play. I had modern warfare on my Xbox and it was fun and I probably would have spent more money on the next cod games. Well congrats blizzard you have just lost all the money I was going to give you just because you can’t make money off my phone number like you aren’t even missing out on money by not letting us play you are literally breaking even and a gaining a bit from the stuff that you buy. This is illogical and illegal excluding someone because they are saving money god dang I think we should boycott them.
I am having the same issue with a canada phone number. Please fix it ASAP Blizzard. It is very frustrating.

I am with BELL Canada’s largest provider and have a post pay phone with a T.O. area code and it’s invalid. Figure that one out! So I don’t think it’s because of carrier or anything like that.
There is a problem with their system and they are not admitting it or don’t know the problem is on thier end.
Only thing you can do is wait it out I guess. It would be REALLY NICE to get a response from someone at blizzard other than “it’s all these different carrier’s faults” and “sorry nothing we can do about it”, seems highly unlikely in either case.
Someone just needs to bring this issue higher and have it addressed.

Blizz support will say it’s not an issue on their end. They lie.
They will tell you to contact your mobile provider. Don’t bother.
When the CSR has more RP than facts, u know you’re f’d.

I also have Cricket service and get the same invalid number message. This is completely ridiculous. If Blizzard’s broken system can’t handle different cell service carriers they shouldn’t require a number to have a functioning account. This is a unintelligent and lazy oversight, and whoever is responsible (as well as the people reading these hundreds of complaints and not doing anything about it) should be seriously ashamed of themselves.

ha haaaa almost a year later and this BS is STILL a problem! guess i just dont get to play Warzone cause A/B seems to think my phone’s not real🤷♀️
why do they need a phone number anyway if they also require an Email address???

Same, I’m on Cricket. However, it’s a monthly payment, not a pre-paid number.
Still doesn’t let me add it. I tried using my free Google phone number, it won’t let me add that either, and both support SMS/MMS.
Facts son, its like asking someone to wear a gold chain for a dental clean up! Its honestly an insult. I can’t even imagine if you buy MW or cold war and this is the issue you’re facing!!
Well, I wish that actually worked, but Blizzard are a joke. I am having the same issue. They told me their system doesn’t have a problem, it’s my phone number that is not compatible.

Same here. I was told that my Country is the wrong region, but I doublechecked and it was the exact same region my phone number was set to
I have Cricket, too, and the darn thing won’t let me, either! Blizzard is such overwhelming trash. I cannot believe that they wouldn’t have already fixed such a massive bug! In the event that the douchebags are reading this: If you really value your customers, then get off your butts and solve this problem!

i have been having an issue trying to add my phone number to my blizzard account. i talk to one of the support crew and they said its because i use metro by tmobile and it is considered a prepaid phone/number. it irritates me to no end that i have to switch phone carriers in order to play warzone because they wont accept my phone number. yet i was able to add it to my actual activision account with no problem. i would really like it if blizzard removed the block they have on metro by tmobile because not everyone can afford a “regular phone plan”
