ZZ-01-47's Arc Emitter Extra Action Button not going away

Hello,

After doing the story quest last night on my paladin, the extra action button from ZZ-o1-47 to use her Arc Emitter is not going away.

I have disabled and reenabled all my addons. It also remains during dungeons.

I did it last night, logged out to sleep, and it is still here this morning almost 8 hours later.

Same problem.

Same issue here. Also, it isn’t being replaced by other items. Supposed to do a delve wiith a flamethrower and Arc Emitter won’t be replaced.

I have the same issue as well. Have tried submitting a ticket about a broken quest and just got a generic AI response saying customer support cant help.

  • tried disabling all addons
  • exting game and realunching
  • picking up other quests with action buttons
  • character unstuck option
  • killing character and rezzing
  • going back to the quest zone and entering other zones that would trigger an action button
None of the things I have tried have fixed the issue. Mentioned all of this in the ticket I created and pretty sure AI just told me " Bliz cant help have a good day!"

hopefully more people will post about it and have the AI send this issue to an engineer.

I posted to the forums this morning before doing a bunch of research, looks like a lot of people are having similar issues:

Funnily enough this person mentions if you join a random arena skirmish and die, the button goes away <.<

Looks like there is a less janky solution here:

By just walking into the power station and walking out. This power station is located located at 56, 38 in the Shadowvein Extraction Site in The Ringing Deeps (Thank you Terafying!)

Edited to add the location from Terafying’s post!

Just a reply to the last comment: If anyone has forgotten where the power station is, it’s located at 56, 38 (Shadowvein Extraction Site) in The Ringing Deeps.
Walking in and then out fixed the issue for me like the comment above.

If you fly back to the place where you were supposed to use it, it goes away. My wife had this issue last night.

I had tried that and no luck on my end.

But after getting a GM to look at it, this fixed it up for me.

  1. Delete CurseForge or WoW Matrix if you have them installed.
  2. Close down WoW if it’s still running.
  3. Head to your World of Warcraft folder (look for -Retail_ or choose Classic if it’s happening there). (Shortcut: Right-click the WoW icon, choose Open File Location)
  4. Delete these two folders: WTF, Cache.
  5. Rename Interface to Interface.old (This keeps your addons safe but takes them out of the game temporarily for testing).1

Queueing arena skirmish is usually a good way to clear these
