Right use the random teleported till you hit the floor you want, remove the random teleport scroll buff so your extra action returns to the one that lets you jump to adjacent platforms, also I’ve ran thru the vault on 6 chars now and there are other ways to get around you just need to be lucky that they spawn
Is it true you can find groups farming war creche? I got quite a bit there but the group disbanded a bit faster than I would have liked. Who knows, maybe I was late to the party.
Yeah that’s what I hate. I don’t want it to be random until I get where I want. I left it. The ring will get replaced right away anyway in 10.1. It’s no big deal to me.
I’ll never understand the thought process for them to time/farm gate “filler” content. Especially if it doesn’t contribute to character power level. Just let us see the tower you put into the game AND let us solve the puzzles. Sucks they don’t give us 6 free keys. I’d love to have a reason to level an alt to max and feed my main keys
I can get overlflow.
I can get useless (at least for now) tokens.
I can get junk.
I can get gold.
What I can’t get are keys. I’ve even started buying that scroll thing to turn on the dirt pile icons to try for keys. 1 scroll is netting about 4 keys.
(technically I can’t get the upgrade item either, but this is about keys)
It was never going to be. Just like everything else, people who no-life’d the first 24-48 hours got one and done. Don’t believe there was ever a plan for any more than the first 6…max benefit for that first week-and-done crowd.
The sheer depth of FOMO milking they keep on building in…yeesh. Message is pretty clear at this point: rush it, no life it, get as much done as early/fast as possible or suffer.
Not getting keys is hitting 2 or 3 bosses and quitting.
A single pass of each boss will give you a handful. There are purchasable buffs available at the envoy’s that allow you to find clickables all over the island.
Random packs of mobs drop keys all the time.
You would have more ground complaining about the drop rates of certain primalist gear; but complaining about keys is laughable at best.
Keys should be a 100% drop off rares and also from quests. I just don’t have the time these days like I used to spending hours grinding rares. And those ones deep inside caves. Forget about it.
Do some War Creche runs, spend your overflow on Sacks from the vendor, and between the two, you should have plenty. Even near the end of week two. I went level 66 to what you see in my profile since yesterday morning.
In some shards, all the rares are up all the time and no one will help you, while in others the rares drop like flies before you can even tag them.
It’s not a good idea to load all the major rewards of an entire zone and minor patch into open world content that cannot be soloed.
I wish that daily quests could award Vault keys and Forbidden Knowledge. That would make this patch nearly perfect.
But no, DF devs are continuing to not allow solo players to actually be solo players. We are the only player demographic that gets the opposite of what we ask for.
