I do not see a lot of DKs take this but it seems the ones that do just wreck me in 2s. Is there a counter to this from a warlock perspective?
Yeah the zombies have 5 hp. Touch them and they die without doing anything. There’s a good reason nobody uses them
I don’t have enough shards and instant casts to keep up with the zombies as Destruction. And if I try, I’m spending so much time on zombies, I’m not doing much to the DK that’s wailing on me.
don’t think rain of fire lasts long enough to be a real answer to this problem, honestly. might just be a 2s counter thing. get your healer to spam swipe? dk’s actual dmg should be pretty low if all his runes go into zombies.
that, or just soak them then try to do goes around being completely stun drd. prob won’t work far into damp though

you can use your pets mainly your voidwalker on them and he’ll aoe them. but you have to give up kick or seduce for it.

Zombies actually pump tbh. It’s a good idea for DK’s to use it against destro in 2v2 as well since the lock just sits still as the zombies crawl towards him. Unlike a rogue who can just fan of knives them no CD. It’s funny because the stun from zombies don’t even DR which kinda makes it obnoxious in some scenarios.

They do a ton of damage. DKs I have played against, it has been upwards of 40% of their damage and that’s with me trying to rain of fire to prevent them from getting to me. That’s clearly not the counter though as I burned through my shards on zombies instead of damaging the DK. I’ll have to try the void walker strat for its passive aoe. Will suck to lose a kick though.

As a marksman hunter these things are annoying, most time i just wait till im on full stun dr to do any type of hard casts or damage, but they are really annoying once the dr is over spam stunning you. never really lost to a dk running this setup but it is pretty annoying to deal with.
Also they do 10% of your hp sorta like mini gpyros that dont need to be casted, but can be aoed down.

have the healer help kill them, if they die, wont be much damage to heal
druids can swipe them, priest can smite / holy nova, hpals are really good and can use concentration

i mean, queuing mm hunter is obviously the world questing for you. telling us about it is the real endgame you’re playing for
I just really like marksman, i play it in raid, in m+ and in pvp. i mainly did pvp for the 2100 to get bis mm pve azerite, but getting 2400 for the rank 4 conflict to try an have all rank 4 esses also became a thing.
