Zero reports of "motion sickness" on the beta

A lot can trigger motion sickness responses in people, unfortunately.

They’re pushing this anti-player PR campaign hard. Just imagine if they did marketing research before developing big game changes instead of sending waves of low IQ trolls working from a script they don’t understand.

Are you here to have a discussion? If not, please don’t reply to me.

You do realize that accessibility testing isn’t public, right? There were several discussions. There was also a hive thread here on GD back in September. And here’s a couple of examples from Beta.

Stop acting obtuse and disrespectful.

Bro were you not around for Legion release? They reduced the camera distance and people were screeching about motion sickness. Though in all honesty I think they were probably in the batch of people that got that infamous bug that turned on the action camera when it was a hidden feature. THAT was disorienting AF and is the only camera change I could see having that kind of an effect.

But it’s WoW, people cry if they don’t get the mount in LFR, or their item isn’t as good as the guy doing significantly harder bits of content.

Motion sickness is caused by a conflict in your body in conflict of motion. You looking at a screen that is actually making your brain think that you are moving around, but you are stationary causes the conflict, and you get sick.

Same thread that was already linked. Far from a widespread issue.

There are motion sickness settings.

Zero reports? How’s it feel being so wrong chief? Next time you should google before stating something false as fact.

Yeah I was around for that, people like to play the victim online with afflictions they don’t have and have never had. It’s victim olympics.

Once acting idiotic.

Post flagged for going against this mass hysteria. Oh well, maybe the grown ups can discuss this somewhere else.

One of the first perks you should unlock for your dragon is a set of training wheels.

Enjoy the cool thing while you can before the cry bullies get it removed.

Nah, it got flagged because he just doubled down when given examples of why he was wrong.

This is what happens when people make being aggrieved something to be heralded. I remember being told I had autism when I was like, 9 and it was something I kept secret because I didn’t want kids to think I was different and be ostracized. Now you see people use it as a defense and cry for “stop saying mean things to me” or “excuse my poor behavior, it’s due to this ailment I can not control.”

The grown ups did discuss it during accessibility testing. Glad you’re the kid who wasn’t part of it.

And in this case it’s so inconsequential it’s baffling. Beta… fine! But suddenly half the playerbase is crippled and can’t play the expansion.

He also seems to believe that a forum that’s roughly 1% of the playerbase is somehow a majority, and that accessibility testing and discussions don’t happen. :upside_down_face:
