no point on giving us gilded crests if pvp gear doesnt go past runed like give us some gold at this point
To be fair, pvp gear SHOULD scale to mythic level.
That would probably help participation a little. Can’t have that.
World of Currencycraft
No idea what is for, or any of the currencies besides conq and honor.
what rating gives gilded? might be faster to farm gilded in pvp then waiting in lfg for a hour at a time.
2100+.
I doubt it, I suspect that at 2100+ you’re probably waiting for an hour in queue too.
No.
I (and most others) will never support this garbage take.
Similar to how someone shouldn’t be able to jump into PVP from a separate game mode at max capacity, you shouldn’t be able to do the same for PvE.
Earn your item level. Besides, 99% of PvPers are incapable of clearing past +8 Keystones.
Rated PvP is way harder than vault or non-push keys.
Why exactly?
I assume Nasrajin is actually talking about being able to upgrade the gear to Mythic level, rather than actually scaling to, like it does in PvP content.
So, essentially, you do, by having to earn the upgrade tokens required to get it to the PvE level you want to play.
I’m not arguing which is harder, Kennie.
I’m only stating that in both modes you should be held accountable to gearing. No shortcuts.
I agree with you by the way about rated being harder overall.
Edited for typos
Crossover is fine, though. Good, even.
If you’re glad in pvp you shouldn’t be 600 ilev.
You’re not wrong, but allowing someone in PvP gear to get mythic raid item level equivalent gear is striking to me.
Having PvP gear cap at hero track is fine, in my opinion. You’re still plenty powerful in all forms of content and you are peaked in PvP in terms of player power.
Why
Vault keys are free
As is the first half of the raid
Bricking a 10 dawnbreaker every week and getting a 639 piece is CRAZY
Disagree. Even if you “brick” (not time) the key, you’re group is still accountable for executing the mechanics at an acceptable level in order to time it.
You still have to put in tangible effort timed or not. It’s not that far fetched to reward someone for completion regardless of timing.
Not getting your angle. +10 keystones rewarding myth track is fine because whether or not you time, it’s still a significant challenge and requires strict coordination.
Naturally, the higher you scale above +10 keystones, the less true this becomes since you master your class to an extent that you find ways to blast everything with optimized rotations and movement.
Maybe I’m not getting your point.
That they cap out down at 10
It’s like hey man I get that you’re 95th percentile in pvp but that doesn’t mean you can have gear equiv to 20th percentile keystone man that doesn’t even have to time the key for the vault credit.
Go do real content (10 mists, dawnbreaker and ara).
erm hello bro? we are locked nearly 6-8 weeks past the start of the season for even OBTAINING pvp gear yet on day 1 pve players can get full BIS gear upto mythic track out of the gate on day 1. youre right both modes should be held accountable no shortcuts. 1 key a week
This is dishonest.
99% of the playerbase that raids mythic and run keys at +10 and higher aren’t BIS item level. This is a persistent problem that many people have complained about that Blizzard needs to to fix.
There isn’t a “BIS out of the gate” or whatever garbage you spewed. Be quiet.
The reality is that PvE gearing to BIS is in one of its worst states in years.
Uhhh, maybe for alts.
For mains as well, Kennie.
It is a SLOG to reach BIS item level and reach BIS gearing (mutually exclusive).
Some of our best trinkets and pieces are myth track from M+ and the only way to obtain that is through vault.
It stinks!
This is a bad design issue.
