When I play BG’s, no Hpals but me.
When I play 3v3’s, no Hpals but me and one other guy, once.
When I watch the top Twitch streams for several days straight, hard-zero Hpals.
Between my own gameplay and other people’s gameplay, for about the whole week, myself and that one other guy are the only two Hpals in the game.
Why is the community trying to gaslight me by saying Hpals are fine right now? The proof is in the pudding.
I’m gonna stop talking about this now, cuz I’ve brought it up quite a bit already. But I wanted to close out with this remark. Nobody is playing this spec, lol. That means something.
Idk man I feel like holy pala is pretty fun and decent but it is def not s+ like rdru but still decent depending on what comps you play in arena.

Because they have not yet figured out how good it is, tho it is kinda gear dependent. Not going to spill the beans on how to make it work but I assure you its good, just you gota play kinda in the “Reverse” of how you think.. That is the only clue ill give, because we don’t need copy cats.

It was worth making sure the whole game was balanced to make them viable at least right. Maybe we will get a phase released on time/correctly now that is over.. or.. is it?
This is why they should have used 5.2 Classes instead of 5.4.
Just use 5.2 mechanics and everything is fixed without questions of “WHY” is some sort of ability being tuned in a certain way tipping balance toward or away from actual balance.
Rdruid meta. Pretty well known tbh. If you didnt play OG MoP, you surely read or heard about the Rdruid meta, right? Hpala isnt bad, its just not the meta healer and this classic playerbase is obsessed with the meta and thats why most are playing Rdruid.
We saw the same thing with Rdruid & Disc in TBC, HPala in WOTLK, RSham in Cata, etc.
Yeah this game is plagued by losers who strictly play hyper FOTM.

Iirc you play the HoT build and prism or smth. Idr hpal buttons at all but mage lock hpal, hpal godcomp, lock shaman hpal, rmpala, wmpala, among others are all fine.
If hpal doesn’t feel good it’s user error. Twitch streamera have an agenda

You know, it didn’t occur to me until I read this, but I have seen virtually zero Hpals since MoP launched. The only one I saw was last week when dungeoning, and since then, it’s nothing but MW Monks and Priest healers.
healers are busted rn, just play a good one and have fun.

I’ve been on a discord call with a classic dev. They have access to any patch they want afaik. I had complaints about a specific patch, they loaded it in their GM client, side by side with the classic client, and screen shared the issue to me

I will say Hpally losing instant flash of light is pretty rough, it’s insanely easy in this day n age to kick fast divine lights
Software companies save everything on hard backup both on and off site. The data takes up not a lota space. They have every patch of every server ever online, potentially even the varoius PTR’s and Alphas / Betas. Remember this is not 1960’s, media is not so expensive that it gets re-used for space.
hpal isn’t bad, its quite good actually. im in the works of leveling mine and im pretty confident ill be pretty high on ladder really quickly. every healer is good in their own way (besides disc), play what you enjoy and crank.
