Zekvir is so aweful mechanis i refuse to leave this lair til i drop it. i will not do raid m+ step outide, im ilvl 635 bood dk and on my 100th pull.

I’m not sure if I’m happy I got it or just happy it’s over.

Between grip, asphyxiate, and IBF for spider spawns and that ilvl you should be fine. Just stay calm, react to what’s happening one thing at a time and you’ll get it. What’s causing you problems?

Make sure you set Brann to DPS (or go Unholy/Frost and Brann to Heals) and use AMS on spittle.
I don’t know how many pulls I’ve done but I’m on zekvir ?? difficulty, and I’m raging. Definitely over 50 pulls. I’m going broke from repairs,flasks,potions. I want to slap the person who designed this fight.

It’s not terrible, it requires you to do the mechanics correctly for an extended period of time without dying. It’s a challenging solo mode encounter. Once you get the dance down and a little tiny bit of luck that you don’t get trapped in a bad frontal, you can get it. I found that doing it as dps with a healing brann was easier.

If you have a shadow priest alt, you can do it as fresh 80 with questing greens.

But it will take you 17 minutes start to finish. Your brain starts turning to mush around 12 with how repetitive it is.

Yea, I think my devoker took 7-8mins and that was brain numbing enough.
Most 610+ DPS kills should be about 4-5. If you pass into “I need to hold everything for every egg” territory the fight gets significantly longer xD

Nah, when I finally killed him I hit my record video button that records the last 5mins of gameplay, the video starts with Zekvir at like 90% HP so I’m just assuming I was at it for a min or two.

Nothing wrong with playing safe and recognising your own limitations, the fight lets you do that for a reason.

most mechanics in this game are terrible. We’re just very selective about which ones we complain about.
That was how I did it on my ret pally. Every guide seemed to emphasise the importance of nailing the egg, so that’s what I did. And yeah, took over ten minutes. But the safe way worked, so I’m not mad. And i beat it on like my fifth or sixth attempt, so there’s something to be said about playing it safe.

You are playing shaman, a very overtuned class right now… And your kit trivializes that fight. It isn’t a fight issue lol.
I 2 shot zekvir. Wiped trying to carry someone in it, disbanded, and solod it my first try without knowing the mechs. Seemed ridiculously easy. Kill ad, move out of stuff, interrupt 1 big cast.
I struggled longer than you are before I got it done. You just have to learn the dance and get into a rhythm with it.
