What was your repair bill for the 160 attempts?
really? Should be really easy with your current ilvl. It took me 6 attempts.
I havenāt finished it yet solely due to my lack of patience with frustrating gameplay. It means I canāt partake in certain game modes as much as Iād like, but I get closer.
I do agree the RNG aspect of many of the pulls (I have to rely on Brann to cleanse every other dot for me and heāsā¦ not great at it) can be frustrating. I prefer to have something I can learn from going into next pulls, not the NPC acted weird and I have no control over him.
I did first attempts on lower ilevels, but last 100 attemps each 150 - 175 gold.
So maybe 30k in total.
KSH is proper challenge because its not stupid,
because you can improve, because there is room for errors
and your view is not limited by ugly clipping orange hexagonal box with satanic stairs to make you stumble.
Congrats I guess. with the 200% buff to both ? and ?? difficulties coming next week you got it just in time.
I live in this personās head rent free. Canāt get any music to play though, all the records are broken.
Gratz all the same OP.
Itās not? With the way people obnoxiously complain about M+ this season Iām convinced that it is.
Also I must admit, those forum haters were right and I do know this class a little bit better now, but it absolutely not worth it, I was 100% happier before.
Thanks, I must admit that one of your comments on forum was useful.
Honestly really happy bliz made a fight you have to do the mechanics to beat regardless of your ilvl. Thereās lessons to be learned here about specifically what a fight like that should look like and challenge but Iām thoroughly looking forward to the next one.
I just hope itās tuned a bit tighter / less capable of having the player fall victim to overlaps. The emphasis on execution was awesome to see though and it presents a new type of challenge for many players.
As you said, once you took on otherās advice and played the mechanics you could do it. A change in perspective and a little humility was all it took.
I imagine theyāll make sure that it canāt be beaten by a certainā¦ naked Shadow Priest this time.
I retract my laugh in the face comment, because Hpeliss being nice to me for no reason.
The problem is that Zekvir was designed with ranged classes in mind, not melee. And his auto-attack is de-coupled from itās actual animation. Meaning he has fair odds of hitting you for three auto attacks and a very small chance of just straight up killing you in four between spell casts. If youāre melee thereās no counter play for this because itās an attack the game wont even let you see. Between that and other quirks for the game- Zekvirās webshot has no clear AOE indicator, demon hunters canāt use vengeful retreat in their rotation because itās the only way they have of clearing spittle, and sometimes egg placement just screws you over. Which means that melee classes have a significantly more difficult time fighting Zekvir- RNG dictates that for every good attempt another 4 or 5 are just scuttled because of things outside your control.
Ranged classes donāt really have to deal with this.
I would like to improve on my Spriest rotation. I know you used to/maybe still do guides for the spec. Any specific place I should use as a reading/watching reference that may be better than others?
WAT? Youāre not seriousā¦ are you?
If you want video guides your best bet is publik on youtube. Wowhead IV and WCP guides are all solid and written by either myself or publik, differences are mostly just personal preference between writers.
I also do coaching through an organisation called visage which is free. I am a teacher by trade irl and though I can be a lil snarky here and there on the forums Iām very happy to help people who want to learn and improve.
Elden Ring must not be the game for you
Its absolutely not.
However I stand correct that KSH is entirely different game, its about differnet things than pump damage into egg and avoid things.
No
Callsaul likes spreading misinformation.
Iām more of a Nioh 2 gal myself.
I will say though rotational understanding on shadow only gets you so far. Especially in mythic+ a huge part of doing well is building an understanding of how to approach each individual pull, how to set up your damage on trash quickly and how to avoid common errors like desyncing cooldowns.
All stuff that can be taught but isnāt necessarily easy to cover in a written guide.
Ion and the devs been looking at more tuning and currently these fights are a bit undertuned to the gear and completion rates of most players.
