Got him to 30-37% multiple times on ?? At 610 the last few days as Fury.
Essentially I find it falls down to 80% cognitive load (How long can you keep your attention from slipping - a literal death sentence and where I tend to fizzle out is about 6-7mins in).
Then 20% falls down to RNG. Some bad luck examples:
Egg spawning too far away
Brann not dispelling spittle (if Iāve used bladestorm, both charges and avatar by accident itās lights out)
Brann dumping pots in a bad spot OR Egg spawns one side and pots are in the opposite direction
Bad camera angle (Especially on that second phase fear, if I canāt see and Iām guessing Iām out of the way of the projectiles itās gg)
Egg positioned in the middle of the 4 void gates (Hatred, SEETHING hatred is an understatement for this)
But really at i-level 610 youāll always manage to kill the egg with or without CDs. But youāll find itās just the challenge of having a long attention span. I also have ADHD which is a huge disadvantage for long repetitive fights like this.
When I realized he gets a hidden buff if you have a taunt-capable pet out, my first attempt was like 73%, but then at 73% or so I was like āThis is taking way too much of my brain and itās going to most likely trigger a panic attack. This aināt worth it for a mount skin.ā
So I let him kill me, walked out, and didnāt look back. Lol.
There are a lot of dumb ground effects that are virtually invisible underneath ground clutter in these delves. Maybe if blizzard would speak to a therapist about their undying love for ground effects we could move on from that, but Iām not holding my breath.
I did the ā?ā version on my main with a 595. It was āhardā but I won for the second try. However, for the ā??ā, I donāt even sure with my new ilv (609), I could win this fight.
Iād say doable then, between spell reflect letting you stand in the fear in P2, and having slayer charge to remove the DoT from the spittle you should be pretty fine.
Itās good to hug. You have to move less to avoid frontals. Just plan on a slow kill and take your time dodging frontals. Then as long as you can shake spittal youāre good. If you get in a rush trying to push damage you will fail.
My main point was a lot of classes have ways of dealing with that cast in particular without needing to worry about Bran interrupting. Or every gnome I guess lol
