I am very doubtful - DH are terrible in those. I haven’t done that one so can’t be sure but based on the others it is one of the worse specs to play in those.

What about a Nelf Hunter or Warlock? You can have your pet tank, and when it dies, use Shadowmeld to let Brann take aggro for a bit

I soloed it around 605 on my blood dk, and dps brann setup. It took some time and there were a few scary moments, being the wheelchair class and all, but definitely doable solo

Ret paladin would probably have the easiest time.

Doing it as a Devastation evoker, it mostly comes down to managing hover charges to dodge things and saving deep breath just to avoid the spittle dot every-other cast and hoping Brann dispels it quickly on the times you can’t breath it.

Warlock might be able to handle it as Destruction but you’d have to make a lot of use of the soulburn demonic circle to cleanse yourself since you still need the interrupt for the heals, you can’t really rely on a pet tank because the pets will just be melee’d to death super-fast and you’d still be down an interrupt for the heal.

Blood DK would be the play. They were ezying 8s at 580, ? At 595 and ?? with tier at 610 should be a good time. DPS brann as Prys says, focus down egg

Hunter and Warlock and Mage have a fairly easy time with it from what I’ve seen. Pretty much any melee has more difficulty.
Don’t get me wrong, you’ll still have to do the mechanics, but as a ranged spec you can see the environment way better. My first clear was my monk and I did a test pull on my mage yesterday out of curiousity, without being good at mage btw, and got to 20%. Being able to not be pinned against a wall attacking the egg spawns is so much easier to see the mechanics you need to dodge.

I’m literally levelling up a BM hunter to get this thing done. I cannot for the life of me manage to get this guy on my DH on ?? difficulty.

Shadow priest is unironically one of the best specs for Zekvir, especially after the nerfs a week or so ago. Having such a slow interrupt is kind of a good thing now because it really slows down the rate that Zekvir casts both his heal and his DoT, the latter of which can easily be broken with Fade so you never have to kick it anyway.

Not to say it’s easy by any means, though. You still have to know how to play Shadow which isn’t the easiest spec to manage, alongside juggling all of the fight mechanics which include being able to pump 400k DPS into every egg to break them before they hatch, while dodging everything that’s avoidable, interrupting every heal, and picking up Brann’s potions regularly so you don’t go down to autoattacks.

Play Demo, it’s more fun anyway

I did it at 616 on Ret Pal and it was kinda braindead easy: Freedom for Spitle, interrupt for Regenerating and Wings always up whenever a spider egg spawns.

Still, I think any class with decent self heals can probably pull it off without too much sweat, just avoid tanks, you just don’t have the damage to break the eggs before the spider hatches and considering you have a pretty hefty “damage taken” modifier to keep more in line with DPS specs, the spiders will probably kill you.

wow lots of different opinions I wasnt expecting that. I guess its pretty balanced across specs if people are nominating a bunch of different specs. DK, paladin, hunter, priest, mage. noticed no one nominated the leather classes for ?? zekvir solo

like others have said use dps brann the healer one will not help with the egg/web kills

Shadow priest and it is not close. At all. Recorded kills with ilvl as low as 580. The ONLY concern is getting meleed with a low health pool at that ilvl.

You have 30s ranged burst to kill every egg and can cast while moving largely. Fade every spittle / pass threat to brann, your passive defensives are literally built for repeated large melee hits. As long as you have the reaction time to walk out of claw smash the fight should be very easy, even if you don’t really play the spec / class.

My rankings would be like…

Priest >>> Ele Shaman > Paladin = Monk > DK > Warrior > Hunter > DH > Lock = Mage > Druid > Evoker > Rogue

WW monk is pretty easy once you get the dance down. Mobility class ftw.

I just did it this morning as ret and 611 ilvl. Took only 65 tries. Lol but ret has a great toolkit for the fight.

I don’t main ret so I had to sort of learn it. It was easy. You need healing brann for Ret tho I will say.

65! not easy even with nerf

You’ll be disappointed… he one shots pets. Have to do it on survival or turn growl off. I recommend survival

Ret or Windwalker.

Great Burst for the Cocoons.
Easy removal of Spittle so you can save you interrupt for the Heal.
Self Healing when needed.
Multiple Defensives.
Great (WW) and decent (Ret) mobility.

i think ret has more self healing but ww has more mobility? which one is more important for zekvir, mobility or self heal?
