ZC is a dead zone, thanks Blizzard

Kind of funny, every rare seems to pop up at the same time and you get 20 different people pinning and saying “come here” .
I suggested maybe we all start at 1 end and work around the map and got called a noob for suggesting, you know, organization lol.

almost no one goes there - they need to add 1-2 raids there and a BG

There is already one there, raid. Those won’t change anything. Rare issue should be changed back. First week or 2 it was packed and then all of a sudden no one and then i noticed the change to rares so its obvious, they need to change it back.

or change their hp because theses rares are staying up longer and longer.

Again, achievement points are not forum relevancy. No amount of comparing them will validate you. Neither will calling me a coward or whatever you think you’re implying. Not to mention you are admitting to hiding on an alt to post. According to you its the achievement points that somehow make you not a coward for posting from an alt. Comical.

You’re entire position seems based on things you claim I’ve said that you literally invented for the purpose of arguing with me. Quite clearly you are a very confused person having a pretend argument where you’re making up my side. I’ve never said I wanted mounts, and I would not care if another never dropped for me in this game ever. I would use the free mounts forever and never bat an eye. For some strange reason you’ve decided I said these things about wanting them for free. If i had said these things you’d have quoted me, but i didnt, so you cant. You’re having some weird delusional argument with yourself and calling yourself the winner.

I mean this game is mostly just queue for stuff from the main city kind of game and has been that for quite a while at this point. I don’t really care if the new zone is dead or if they even add new zones in the future because i never bother doing them anyways unless blizz forces me to with stupid in game systems.

Thankfully with this expansion i can just ignore all that dumb stuff like renown and new zone garbage and just sit in town queuing pvp on all my alts.

I do enough to get my rep for weekly 1/2 crest then peace out to other content.

If this is the path they want to go down, they need to make all content able to be queued and more so, add more content, expand, give us world content like warfronts that are actually worth doing so we can queue and group and do things.

They make these big zones and no one does them, it’s a waste of resources.

The queued format would have been perfect for the Storm’s Fury and Researchers under Fire events, to ensure the proper number of players.

I have a feeling, though, that after all the complaints that hardcore group content players gave about warfronts, devs are afraid of having instanced features again.

Devs need to stop letting hardcore group content players dictate how the game should be designed, even features that hardcore group content players have no interest in. We will just end up with fewer and fewer expansion sales each time.

Maybe this is what devs actually want. If open world metrics go super low, devs can use that as an excuse for repeating Shadowlands Season 4 (only group content gets updated).

I can’t even do the main open world event in the zone.

Mobs hit like trucks and on a dead server unless you get incredibly lucky and happen to be there when a raid group shows up only 1 or 2 people show up.

This is just about the worst zone design. everything is just far too powerful when you compare it to the players that it’s theoretically designed for and the rewards.

I didn’t even know the rares dropped mounts, because I don’t need any of the rares or events, which is honestly a godsend. The is the other side of the coin to people complaining about having to do things like Korthia for raid power. Now the open world content only drops things that open world only players need. Which is good, because with 3 raid nights and 16 M+ a week, I’m thankful for the 2 days or so that I get off at the end of the week. I’m glad that people who only want to do rares and events instead of raiding or M+ are allowed to, and I’m glad that I don’t have to. Maybe there’s just not as many open world only players as you though, or you were being carried by high geared players who were forced to punch below their weight class.

Nah the zone was fine, not exactly, but much better than it was before they changed it to once per 4 days and seemingly did not change the loot drop rates. Or the loot drop rates were so low to begin with that the increase didn’t really do anything.

Since the change the place has really dropped off, and for good reason, I killed a few rares today mostly solo, since I am capped on whelping crests I got a single piece of grey vendor trash, even though all the rares I killed had something I could use, I got nothing, not even gold, a piece of vendor trash from each rare worth less than 1G.

exception, not the norm.

The idea being that they want to alienate casuals who make up a majority of players? I don’t think they intentionally want to do that. But you can bet most if not all the devs are “hardcore” and so to them M+ and raiding are the only “fun” options, and little attention is focused on the world content that appeals to a huge segment of their player base.

There was a M+ player who responded to one of my posts who couldn’t believe that casuals would farm so many elites in ZC for drake crests when they were supposedly easier to come by in M+. I don’t think people who run M+, or the ones who code it, realizes how many players have zero interest in M+ but will happily and mindlessly grind world content for modest gear upgrades, so it never occurred to them that the majority of players in ZC would vanish if they took that grind away.

Lots of different player types in this game, Blizzard hurts themselves by only catering to the top 30%.

It does not help that every weekly turn in gets you yet another suffused cloak or another suffused ring. That is all I seem to get . I got a bag full of cloaks and rings all the exact same item. After a while it gets to be super boring knowing you are going to get yet another item you have several of. That is why I stopped bothering with them.

Doubt it, you would be very surprised how many players actually push keys, and how many actually have the skill to do so.

As I’m nearing the end of leveling all my Hex’s to 70, I realized that I do not want to level in the same four god damn zones again. I put 11 characters through Waking Shore, Plains, Span and Thal.

If only there was some new zone where I could take my 60’s to. Maybe a zone filled with events and rares that would grant exp instead of flightstones.
