Once wowhead started showing it was 0.07 % drop chance many people said yeah no thanks. Not dealing with that anymore! 1% minimum thanks

I like ZC a lot more than the FR stuff, but even still Iām not going down there daily with my main. I have yet to see anyone on any of the mounts anywhere else, even in the old world like when waiting for the goblins, so itās clear the mounts arenāt dropping much. Iāll get down there over time to get the rep/renown up, as I always do, but Iām in no rush. I donāt do raids or M+ stuff so Iām not stressing anything anyway, but I do wish there was more to do down there.

Rare mount drops aside, getting bored isnāt a thing in warmode. Not in the cavern, at least.
No my point is I play on the battle group with Frostmourne as a horde player, they are the number 1 alliance server in the world, top rated raid groups and LOVE to do WM stuff, we get wrecked, hard.
World content is horrible.
good riddance.

Unfortunately, without world content you would still be level one wielding grey and white gear. Imagine trying to go into a dungeon or a raid as the only way to gain levels and gear? 
World content should be good, and it can be good, but with their new expansion model making it less mandatory to do, well, anything, it means the zones are also going to have less do to.
Problem is, what can we even do? Mount farm? Mogs, pets, achievements?
They need an entirely new model of game, give us stuff to farm that is different and worth farming. The new gear upgrades are good, but limited to how much you can upgrade both by how many crests you can farm and by how impossible it is to do the rares unless you have a group.
I donāt think anyone could have guessed that without the mandatory power farming (SL Leggos, AZ gear, HOA) that we would literally have nothing to do.
But personally I think they go back to the BFA model with IE, warfronts and all the other stuff you could do, maybe limit it to HOA type system same as the legion weapons so we didnāt have to do the content, we could do this or that and still get upgrades and it was mostly optional content.
Because right now with little to nothing to do, running keys all day outside of raiding is about all we can do unless you PVP.

Not necessarily, was messing around in Forbidden Reach last week (never did the zone before) and the little RareScanner addon would āannounceā that a rare is up - I would drop what I was doing and fly there at FULL speed - only to arrive upon a dead corpse and multiple random players already āleaving the sceneā 
ā¦ but the RareScanner addon would still show the rare as alive, thatās just how fast pug players zerg down these rares

People complained that farming rares was bad and not fun.
Blizzard makes it so thereās no incentive to farm rares so people donāt feel forced to.
People complain that no one does the rares.

I explained in the past why the Caverns are dead on arrival. Course the Blizzard apologists came in full force to defend the bad design choices and incompetence of Blizzard in regards to the caverns.
Definitely agree with this, and everything else youāve mentioned here.
My problem with the new system is they said they were going to up the loot levels and amounts they drop. I still see i am getting a couple of whelpling crests per rare sometimes I may get one single drake crest and nothing else. That Is why I stopped doing the rares honestly. It is not worth me beating on something with millions of HP for 20 mins for a single crest. If they make them actually worth killing , I would .

Without world content my character would be exactly as it is right now.
I donāt do quests.
I create ally races, and immediately do dungeons for leveling.
id rather go stare at a wall than do stupid fetch quests in this game.

You know thereās a weekly rep quest for a spark, right? Thatās what people do in ZC. If youāre spending hours in ZC outside of that you should probably go play the game.
Dragonflight is designed to be a āraid loggerā expansion. All we need is a major patch where the only feature is TikTok integration and we can easily call it WoD 2.0.

I have to admit most of your post youāre talking about some weird scenario you are trying to create where I complained about mount rarity or acquisition. I did not. No need to invent some argument to win.

Rolling the dice over and over again until you hit that perfect roll and get the prize isnāt dedication, its a crippling gambling addiction. No one is looking down on you for it, put the victim card back in the deck. Its just a different way to waste your time since thats what we are all doing while playing this video game.

OMG, people who are willing to put in thousands of attempts to get a mount are the real lazy ones, unlike people who whine on the forum that they should get a 100% mount drop just for being them.
Itās amazing how far lazy people who want rewards mailed to them because theyāre too good to do what it takes to earn them will go to justify their unwillingness to play the game.
