So they fire the one guy that actually tried to talk to us? I guess we know where we stand with Blizzard.
If you thought we had bad communication before I can only imagine what’s going to happen now.

Great… now we’re stuck with the worst CM as the head one.
Disgusting of them to do this garbage. I’ve honestly lost all faith in blizzard now, this game isn’t “for the players” anymore, long since it was that.
Yes.
Tunnel vision development now. Dark days ahead for Blizzard gaming in general and more specifically for WoW.
It was from much higher than Bliz
It is not fair to have this happen to somebody who was one of the best CMs I have seen across multiple games. We will be lucky to get any communication at all now that he is gone. The Yak shall be missed and I wish you the best.
Sad to see such an info… really sad
Who? tenchar
Losing GMs , CMs and CS for wow is bad.
Communication wasn’t that great now it will get worse
That Holy Yak cared more about players than the rest of the dev team combined. Sad but true.
Rip Ythisens and Rip blizzard slowly being devoured by the monster that is Activision.
Ythisens, I’m sorry to hear about your situation, I will miss you here on the forums, you were a great CM.
TBF, Ythisens had moved onto mostly the Paladin and Classic forums lately, and Bornakk has been the one frequently posting in GD. So unless Bornakk was also let go today, the little communication we do get here in GD should continue.
Bornakk does seem to lack Ythisen’s penchant for snark, which I will miss.
Shameful blizz, shameful. Hopefully he whistleblows the heck out of blizz now lol.
so improving communication is firing a good cm?
I will miss you Ythisens. One less light at Blizzard.
I’ve been through layoffs before. It’s tough, especially if it is a job you really liked and been at for a while. Ythisens, so sorry about your layoff and I wish you all the best.
We’ll miss you Yth.
This one hurts. I liked the Yak a lot. I felt like they actually engaged with us, even on a base level. Sad day.
Maybe they’re giving up on improving communication and going all-in on not communicating at all.
