So you wouldn’t change a thing?
Most people in our modern & progressive society like Blizzards new diversity and inclusion policies, it’s only a few far right neanderthals who keep complaining.
This is what Blizzard says
“Diversity fuels innovation, so we’re creating an environment where differences are embraced, valued, celebrated and always welcomed. Our best work comes from a culture in which our employees bring their authentic and best selves – we work hard to create an environment that encourages and celebrates this belief. And we’re proud that we have been recognized for our efforts, including being named one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index in 2019 and 2020.”

Start development on Starcraft MMO
Make the game
-Easy for new players to get into end game content
-Make it very alt friendly, no daily grinding
-Make content like raiding less time consuming in a single sitting, and more rewarding when you do it
-Cater to casual players/raid loggers/players with limited play time. Be done with the days of the game being built for no lifers
-Design content to be optional, balance things in ways where nobody feels compelled into content they don’t want to do, you can pick your path (world/PvP/M+ or raid) and be able to max yourself out for your goal/path
-Offer more time = reward. Add more things in game to save time. More flying and faster, more teleports, more systems to get to where you wanna go.
Over all I would make the game into an experience where you could focus on what’s fun to you, what you WANT to be doing, and remove the things that feel like boring chores
I’d play this.
With the game? Not much. That’s not the CEO’s job. The CEO needs to focus on the bottom line because Activision won’t keep you around long if you are losing money. So your job is finding the right people to make that happen and create a supportive working environment to make them successful.
Tinker Class
Can half the dev team over enough time that I can still use some of them. Retcon BFA and SL completely gone, tell everyone to treat the content in game as a what-if scenario.
Hire back as many of the old guys as possible, give myself the title of loremaster and be 100% dictatorial about how the lore is written and presented in game.
Buy wildstar and fix it
Make wow2
Spend tons on full customization options and transmogs
Buy a huge boat sail around the world
Send Vicktoria the big love rocket
Oh, I’d also give Mr. Didier my 100% full and unconditional support for HoTS.
Best game Blizzard still has, with the soul of their universes still intact within it.
I’d also let everyone know that the report function is only for people that attempt to get weird with minors. Report anything else, you get banned for being a snitch.
- Remove PVP
- Turn all the PVP devs into player housing devs
- Retire to the French Riviera
Make WoW 2.
Go back through my post history on the wow forums and ban everyone that ever disagrees with me.
Only hire people who criticize wow regularly and fire all the “yes men”
Immediately hire and monetize the creators of popular private servers.
Release multiple iterations of wow all at once.
Completely tank Diablo immortal and slowly let the game die
ReHire Mr. T as the official world of Warcraft spokesperson
Buy CM out and throw so much money at him he has no choice but to take over wow storytelling again
Fire whoever is in charge of class balance and raid design
Remove anyone from the community council that has never once actively disagreed with or challenged blizzard on anything
Now you’re thinking like a true CEO.
That’s not a good idea. Only the top people decide where the story is going. Most of the dev team are knee deep in C code or computer graphics and are just following a design spec.
The reason you don’t want to fire them is that they know the code. Anyone new would have to learn it.
Dark Ranger incoming.
Kung Fu.
Retire…
If I was the CEO I’d relax all transmog restrictions.
