Your top two addons

I use WeakAuras and TomTom, that’s it.

I never ever mentioned Rackful in a tourney. But he did ATR in Wrath when addons still were allowed then in ATR.

ATR was nothing like Blizzcon. You can do the ATR from your own home and participate in it in your own home.

You seem not to even know who he is. You only mentioned him after I did and then also said he doesn’t play competitively when he does. He is multi rank 1 and a multi Bliizcon champion, and also the time period in which you claimed to have gotten Vanquisher for %s… it was not %s based. What was your comp when you did ATR? Just curious. Cuz you very clearly did not get high enough in it to place in the finals as they were not %s based back then. The other arena titles were, but not the Vanquisher one when you claimed to have gotten it. I did ATR close enough to when you did so I know.

So you either made it up about getting it or you got it from someone else, cuz what you said about how you got it is flat out wrong. Arena titles in ATR were % based back then but that one was not when you claimed to have gotten it.

So bye. You lie. Proved you wrong on back to back multiple lies here even after you went out of your way to come at me first… Cuz you knew you have never proven yourself in game so felt the need to do so vs a random Classic poster on the forums.

My man can you actually read? Because its pretty clear you dont.

I never said anything specific about Reckful in a tournament. I said that most high end players didnt use addons back then because they couldnt use them in big tournaments.

I never said it was

I know considering I participated in it and earned the title.

Yet I actually do. Venruki is a mage main.

I said he plays ladder not in tournaments considering hes one of the main broadcasters for AWC. I clearly dont know who he is rofl.

I never specified a time when I got Vanquisher. Just said I had it.

It was top 1000, im sorry I dont remember something from over 12 years ago perfectly rofl.

My main comps were Thug/RLS and my alt teams were PHD and KFC.

I never claimed to be good enough to make it to finals. I just played around 2400 back then.

I didnt make anything up rofl. It was over 12 years ago. I also ran the arena forums guild “Shut Up PVE guy” but I bet you are gonna say I lied about that too.

ROFL I havent lied about anything. Keep coping because you clearly arent very good.

Hrm… tough one.

Maybe Bartender and ATT.

Bartender is a must, and ATT basically is the game for me.

weak auras and dbm.

dbm for the pvp stuff/timers.

w.a’s for the 2 small wa packages i use for pvp.

Happy Sunday.

MiksScrollingCombatText and Details.

It’s a great addon, one of my favorites for sure. I just wish that it had some more options, like if i open up the MoP map, i’d love to see teleport icons at different locations of the map, like the Timeless Isle Trinket, different dungeon teleports etc, i want to be able to look at any zone map and see where my different portal items can get me, it would be much better than scanning through the current UI looking for the one item that’s going to get me the closest to where i want to go.

Decursive and Bagnon

Titan Panel - It’s like a dashboard that organises all the other things.
Handynotes - It’s handy to keep track of holiday stuff, treasures, glyphs, etc.

…and below. Those two really need to get a room. :grimacing:

Now I want waffles and it’s your fault.

Handy Notes - I like to know where stuff is hidden
Zygor - Because I can afford it, and it is 22 add-ons in one

Final Fantasy addons are a grey zone. A good chunk play on consoles and not a pc, meaning they dont have the same access to mods a pc player has, hence they dont want them. Saying that though, if they arent disrupting gameplay you wont be banned for using them.

For example Damage Meters exist for FF and are used regularly. There are even logging and parseing for fights on a seperate site. You wont get banned for using the metres, but if becomes game disruptive (such as telling someone sucks due to output) then they will take action.

Its why people are more passive aggressive in FF. Instead of kicking you, they will call it and remake the team without you.

Have to have? Probably Bartender and ItemCount (shows what other characters have that item as well-- very useful)

There’s so many QoL addons that I use: tiptac for better tooltips, immersion, Niggles pet teams, inventorian, Toy+ (because I like toys), SUF…

Love addons! :dracthyr_a1:

details and weakauras

Arkinventory (I like it auto-organizing things into their proper boxes)

Autobar (all consumable and trinkets and stuffs in it’s own bar at the bottom of my screen…Huge HUGE helper).

Can’t live without Postal, Scrap and Coordinates (I get lost) too. And Chocolate Bar to stick all the addons into one bar at the top of my screen.

Got some new addons from this thread, so thanks!

ps. Dominos! A must have. Also Shadowed UI. Ok, I have lots I need to play.

any damage meter. and waypoint coordinate addon. helps so much for finding stupidly placed things by blizzard.

For the mythic tryhard raider the 2 that are critical are easily DBM and cheap auras.

DBM because it shoulders a lot of the mental load of each encounter by tracking the mechanics that one needs to be aware of and gives a simple audio blurb that the dumb monkey brain more easily associates with an action to respond with.

Cheap auras because it also shoulders much of the mental load involved in playing a spec down to again visual and/or audio cues the dumb monkey brain can associate with a response. Also cheap auras also helps suppliment DBM with Blizzard tries to make actual challenging fights that require quick thinking and reaction down to just simple cues again so the dumb monkey brains more readily tackle it.

Thus leaving the player to just gain the basic understanding of encounters so they know when DBM and/or cheap auras tells them to do something the more precise action they take for that specific mechanic so along with their other 19 other people who all manage the herculean task of showing up at the same times and coordinating well enough beat the fights that the addons are largely doing the lion share of the mental work tracking and telling the player what to do so they can then look down their noses at the rest (especially here on the infamous wow forums).

Obligatory 3rd is WCL so all of the respective epeens can be organized and measured up against each other.

As for my personal 2, DBM because yes it’s nice to have a lazy monkey brain and have an addon keeping track of all the stuff and alerting me when something I need to respond to is happening so I can spend my mental energy on the bajillion other things going on in mythic+, the actual real hardest content in the game, or paying attention to the various videos or music while I do the amazingly hard job of pressing taunt on stupid easy raid bosses. The other would probably be honestly world quest list giving me a quick rundown of all the active world quests to see if any are worth my time to go chase down or Raider IO so I can easily gauge the expected competency of a player/group relative to the content and level of said content being done.

Healbot/cell

And i guess w/a.

Those get the most use. W/a mostly for when crap has more than 1 charge or something usable

Not counting ElvUI, I’d probably give the top two to BigWigs and WeakAuras.

Details is whatever, I can make do without knowing my output as long as I make it through the boss fight alive.

Someone who uses DBM - can you help me? Please

I don’t get any notifications from it anymore. Like, nothing pops up ever. I’ve updated it, but can’t remember what I tried to do to fix it before… I got frustrated and gave up lol. But I’d love to have it back.

If anyone has any tips I can try, that would be wonderful.

Healbot. Used it since vanilla, and healing is all I do. I have it very customized and dialed-in at this point. I’d have to seriously consider continuing to play this game if this addon was abandoned, as it would require stupid amounts of reconfiguration on my part.

Weakauras. I actually used a different addon, “Power Auras Classic” for a long long time until recently when it was mostly abandoned by its developer and started breaking with every game update. I liked it better than weakauras but it was obvious that I was fighting a losing battle trying to keep this half-broken addon going using random workarounds all the time.

I mostly use weakauras for custom auras rather than the pre-made aura packages. I use it to monitor my clearcast procs, my abundance stacks, time remaining on my efflorescense, keeping lifebloom up on myself, etc. My UI practically looks like a Vegas slot machine.
