if you read the lore behind Sylvanas after the defeat of Arthas. Sylvanas can’t die thanks to a pact she made with the last 9 remaining Val’kyr. For each one that remains is a life they are willing to give to Sylvanas to stay alive. There are officially only 7 left since the alliance killed one in the battle for dark shore quest line. So killing her may be impossible.
Personally I hope she ends up getting herself killed, trying to outsmart the jailer and take that power for herself.
Instead ends up getting trapped in the hell she tried to avoid for years and stays there until Blizzard needs to rehash her story.
We both know its going to be 10-30 well organized murderhobos trying to drop her shoes or that sweet caster trinket she has.

She tried to accept her fate after the fall of Lich King, she jumped off the top of ICC onto a saronite spike. She was ultimately brought back to life by the Val’kyr.
