Suramar: i get people had ptsd from the quests around there but good lord, what a beautiful place! The most elaborate and detailed city in the game. It is a freaking crime that Suramar didnt become a player hub or at least a place for Nightborne players to chill and RP. A crime. Wasted art and potential that is now just gathering dust.
Undercity: yes a lot of nostalgia goes into this one but man, nothing else like it in game. The atmosphere, the music, the sounds…an essential example of immersion.
Tie Between Dazaralor and Valdrakken:
I know a tie is a cop out but both of these cities had beauty and uniqueness enough to both make the list. Valdraken was cool in its design and theme and Dazaralor with its Myan/Aztec theme was so perfect for the Zalandalar Trolls.
Thunder Bluff is my number 1, bar none. I’ve loved it ever since my eyes first landed onto it when I started WoW.
I’m fond of a number of other cities, but I don’t “love” them like Thunder Bluff. I like Ironforge, Valdrakken, Dornogal, and Dazaralor. And Undercity!
(Forgive my spelling.)
Oh! I also have fond memories of Crossroads. LOL.
EDIT: and that big city in Hallowfall is cool, too. Meledor?
I absolutely could not stand Dazar’alor. Worst layout of any city in all of wow (not sure if that can be disputed) and imo the worst music of any city. I hated being there lol.
Boralus, I love this city so much, I want more reasons to idle here.
Old Orgrimmar, I really liked the feel of the city so much and the music, which was utterly gutted with Cata’s iron version, made worse by its city music becoming jumbled with a bunch of other music, never could play Horde after that, Orgrimmar is just gone.
Stormwind - walking into this city and being hit with that music, chefs kiss every time.
Ironforge is my only favorite, any other city i spend time in is only because i have to (either because of convenience, expansion features or whatever).
If they gave all cities all features, i’d never change my hearth from Ironforge.
