I have reported countless Bots and Advertisers in your game and nothing has been done about it. These people are giving you the middle finger, and you are shrugging it off. These people are ruining the game, not just for myself, but for other players as well.
We don’t know what action is taken as it’s between them and Blizzard.
When it comes to bots, Blizzard will never ban a bot here and there - it’s always a mass ban wave and after investigation on how to break that bot (without breaking the game).
Please keep reporting. It does help. Sadly when it comes to gold selling etc those people are backed by big criminal syndicates. They are well funded, ruthless and have tens of thousands of compromised accounts at their disposal. One gets banned, they try the next and so on.
Now also keep in mind, some people confuse botting with multi-boxing. Multi-boxing itself is not against the rules, but using any form of automation or streamlining to multi-box certainly is.
It’s an ongoing battle, fought not only by Blizzard but many other games companies - even well before WoW was released. The only true way to stop most of this is for players to stop insisting they cheat by buying gold or whatever. If they have no black market, they’d move on.

Problem is after many of them are taken out they have replacements on replacements. They also tend to use the same name over and over or use similar names. Why so it looks like nothing happens.

Know how frustrating it is, but all you can do is report and move on. Blizz is in this for the long haul, it’s just whak a mole on Steroids so it will be a never ending thing and blizz can’t do anything about them if they aren’t reported.
