Today while playing WoW at work, I decided to begin hunting for the Elusive Quickhoof, as the alpaca mount did not drop for me from the World Boss last week. I read up on it, added some macros, and prepared to spend my entire shift flying around the desert looking for this guy. I found him within half an hour, no group needed!
Afterwards I thought, “hmm maybe I’m still lucky” and began looking for camel statues in Uldum. I have searched on and off for years for this camel statue and never found one, real or fake. Today I found one, my first one was a real one, and I got my Camel Hoarder title and now own three camel mounts (which I do actually use, I find their grills very charming.)
I am so delighted. The alpaca is cute and is perfect for my Vulpera shaman alt I just made. What a wonderful stroke of luck.

I was farming and crafting for ‘Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker’ and ‘Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros’ at the same time for a couple of weeks on my blacksmithing warrior, had all the bars made when Right Binding dropped off Garr. So I left Molton Core, went and got the quest, returned to Molton Core to finish the raid and the Left Binding dropped off Baron Geddon!
Less than half an hour later I was waving Thunderfury around in Stormwind!

Now that’s some serious luck, I know people who have been farming that since BC and still don’t have one or the other bindings.

Joined the love is in the air event. I decided to cycle my alts, and half heartedly decided to make jokes about it as i entered the instance. I never farmed this mount, my attempts are probably in the single digits since 2008 or so.
So, first try of the day, i say this is the one guys! This is the love rocket. And it bloody dropped 
Needless to say my life has been downhill since. I peaked.

Got my main hand warglaive and the other binding for thunder fury on the same day within 20 minutes of each other. Awesome

That is awesome. I got three left glaives before the right one finally dropped and haven’t been to Black Temple since. I need to go on my demon hunter next TW event so I can transmog them on him.

Was that on normal difficulty?
Neither did I until it happened the first time…. I got so excited when I saw an orange icon and then I kept trying to equip both of them and didn’t understand why it wouldn’t go in. Soul crushing. RNG is a foul mistress.

I farmed that for a while but once I got all the pieces to the legendary from Ulduar I gave up that chase. Maybe I’ll revisit it now that I’ve checked off two things from my to-do list.

I got both the warglaives of azzinoth (both right and left hands) dropped at the same time. I figured the chance of it happening is extremely low considering each one has less than 1% drop rate individually and i haven’t heard anywhere that someone else has that same experience.

I don’t know about my hands down luckiest moment, but one that stands out is seeing the HH mount drop the first year I ever did it back in 07-08 when you still rolled on it and could run it multiple times per group.
Unfortunately that was followed by one of the unluckiest moments…
I lost a 97 roll to a druid who rolled a 99 and said “lul I’ll never even use this.” 
Side note, I’ve run it probably between 500-1000 times since then, and I’ve never seen it drop again. Not once.
On a brighter note, I did find Skoll on my old hunter the first time I went looking for him! I even managed to kill a warlock (while not having a pet out, obviously) who tried to gank me while I was trying to tame him.

It’s still to get a depleted-kyparium rocket from blingtron. It’s useless rng cause you can craft or buy the mount, sadly, but when I got it, wowhead was showing 0.04%. I can’t find it anymore in their database.
