Boy, you need less WoW in your life and more school. It’s bad enough that you insult people who disagree with you by calling them “snowflakes” but could you at least learn to write a cohesive sentence? Perhaps a spell checker? Maybe even try to use some proper grammar and punctuation?
This is the nature of progress and it already happens. Pre-bis raid gear lost it’s value after you cleared MC for awhile and now MC gear is losing it’s value because some ZG blues are better and BWL is out. When AQ comes out then those will become irrelevant too. New expansions are just the next step up in gear quality as you level.
If you think they are going to put out the expense for “fresh” servers you are fooling yourself. They will expand classic to TBC just like they did originally. You are seriously setting yourself up for disappointment.
You seem to be confusing my prediction for a desire for fresh servers. The only thing I care about is not having to reroll (at any level) and avoiding the server roulette at the launch of classic.
My prediction is based on the assumption that enough people checked the “reroll at level 1” box on the survey to make it worth creating a server or servers to accommodate them.
I hope TBC ends up being a fresh server. Players are just way too good now; all of the content on release would be absolutely deleted by everyone having Naxx gear and legendaries.
No we will be 60 just like it was.
Why would you think it would be a reset when TBC itself was a continuation from 60-70? I can guarantee you many will just leave WOW altogether if they do that.
This isn’t a feelings thing. TBC existed already and it was a continuation of vanilla. There was no mandated reset.
Stop trolling. No one in their right mind would want to level from one in TBC. If they go that route you can count me out!
Were you not around in 2007 when they released tbc? You realize everyone had AQ and Naxx gear going into TBC… Right ?
tldr OP didn’t play vanilla or TBC
Classic was deleted in 5 days after fresh. It won’t matter either way in TBC. All available content will be cleared within 3 days of TBC release
Naxx gear isn’t good enough to go into raids with except a few pieces…and most of those aren’t naxx gear…they are things like darkmoon cards. Naxx gear will take you to 70 (some of it) and be good while you level and nothing more.
By a very small portion of the classic playerbase which practiced on private servers for years. Most of the playerbase wasn’t even close to 60. This isn’t about world first.
I’m not going to play BC if it doesn’t come with natural progression of my Classic characters into BC. Enjoy playing with a bunch of Blood Elves.
… because this is every boomers chance to actually relive their childhood and be one of the cool kids?
Duhhh.
That said, and mark my words well: if it’s a start over a lot of people are just gonna leave for private TBC servers, and why TF not, because at that point you’ve just made pservers better because it’s the same thing (losing your progression) but at least it’s FREE.
If Blizz wants to kill Classic, this is the way to do it. Making TBC either a fresh start or a start at 58.
Presumably because Classic will still be a thing, so it will never be for nothing.
So easy fix is have character copies…
This will allow us to keep our chars on classic, and also allow us to keep all our progress and accomplishments going into B.C. character copies are fine if they limit the gold you can copy over to idk 100g for example then have only the items the player is wearing / quest rewards stay on the account. this way people cant bring over thousands of gold in boe’s and consumables/materials.
That’s just silly. You’re not on a pserver any more. Don’t ask for pserver corruptions of the game.
Its too much common sense! Someone flag this troll!
