Ion wants to be remembered for breaking the meta, It’s sad because it’s never going to happen. If anything stuff like AoE caps just moves the meta around at BEST.

Yeah I wonder sometimes if they realize what the ramifications of what they are doing.
The sad thing is, he’d probably be praised to high heaven as a genius designer if he would stop bull-rushing into things his customers tell him they don’t want.
Nobody remembers genius design. They remember if they enjoyed something or not.
