Hey did you notice how they just gave a bunch of CE guilds beta invites? Guess they care about mythic raiders opinions more than casuals

If most or enough players just choose what they want based on lore/flavor/rewards instead of the numbers and what’s “best” then there will most likely be less denying because of covenants.
If the “norm” is just picking the one you want, then people will either be forced to wait longer for the “perfect/correct” class+covenant combo or they’ll ignore the covenant choice to fill the spots faster cause players as a whole (in this scenario) have decided to play based on personal preference.

The saddest thing about this is that I’ve gotten to the point that I just don’t care anymore.
You managed to dodge the question why the specifically gave invites to CE raiders, my entire raid got beta invites today… All the front page guilds in OCE got them actually.

They are testing raids and mythic dungeons, so you make good little mice.

Thing is most are asking for the class specific abilities to be opened up not the signature ones like the venthyr signature ability Door of Shadows

This is working as planned. It keeps the players interest. When the day finally comes it’ll be patched and the players will celebrate YAS DOOOD! before Blizz messes it all up again. and again and again.
Like you said the game is over 15 years old and the players are just as “passionate” as they where on day one.
BoD Major is not that good in M+, Beam is better in AOE situations, by like Alot. BoD is a ST essence, again In Major.
Not one M+ class guide I have seen says to run BoD in M+, because that would be stupid. You get Beam from M+, because its designed for M+ and does the most damage in M+. The game litteraly tells you to use, guides do, Blood Mallet does.
The fact that you think Breath of the Dying is better in M+, than Focusing Iris, really makes anything else you say irrelevant. There is NO world where BotD out DPS’s beam in a mass AOE situation.
Also as to the 10-15%, WTF are you talking about? Literal apples and oranges. You cannot even begin to compare the too like that, they are for vastly diffrent things, and do completely diffeent forms of damage.
There is obviously some places BotD is better in M+, bursting weeks for sure. However from a Raw Damage perspective, in M+ Beam wins 100% of the time.

Pretty much. In a game of numbers there’s always going to be an optimum build, whether it be secondary stats, covenants, legendaries, specs, talents or whatever.
The more people stop nitpicking the tiniest thing, the sooner the community can recover and get back to playing the game.
bwuahaha this… I just can’t… You’re scared out of your mind that your covenant will leave you lackluster in a boss fight. And oh boy by your 1-10% mentality will have to bench yourself. But by all means Timbae, you said Venthyr is going to be the most OP covenant because of the teleport.

The writing is on the wall, this is WOWs last Expansion. Between the dev team being stupid and the comments on this forum, there is just no way it can continue. The level of stupidity in this thread is through the roof.
