It’s still 6 hours.
Maybe wow isn’t for you then.
Tiny nitpick. It’s not an hour or two a day. It’s about 20 minutes per day and you’ll average enough pummelers for every boss in BWL.
Honestly you guys are missing the point. Instead of going after the botters, Blizzard is implementing changes that affect how you are allowed to play. It is like giving up and saying botters gonna bot so we will make them less efficient.
They are going after the botters, they’re doing this in addition to everything else they do to combat botting.
You forget travel time from running to and from gnomer and to wherever I might go eg EPL
Even just the 5 instance/hour lockout and having to spend hours in Gnomer was enough to decide I wasn’t going to bother staying feral and go play a rogue instead. The daily lockout only made things harder on days I had more time to farm - y’know, so I could have more of a life other days.
Title checks out.
And this is that rogue; I’m not full of crap. Simple raid mats are a godsend.
But I want to druid and do 900+ dps in bwl on bosses. So would you please let me double my melee white hit damage k thx bye.
I’m on Herod, one of the top 3 servers by population, and there’s literally one person inside Gnomer right now. Druids don’t farm 30+ Gnomers daily, they never have. In fact, they’d benefit a lot more if the 30/day cap was retained but the 5/hour limitation was removed.
I’m a Bear Druid who goes through MCPs like candy and I support the instance limit.
Why repeal a change that forces a druid to run low level content on a daily basis just to compete? Why not allow druids to use Polearms or make a more viable weapon besides a level 30 mace…
So repeal something that’s not in the “spirit of Vanilla” or make a completely unVanilla change…
Yes, I’d love to be able to use polearms, but here’s reality MCP is the best feral weapon in Classic. It beats Ateish! So why punish druids for using what was available in Vanilla and still is in the Classic recreation of Vanilla?
Right now? It’s Friday. Fact is you’re picking the middle of the afternoon on a week day and using it. You’d benefit from thinking before replying.
In 2 hours you can only do a maximum of 10 runs. I don’t see the issue.
And your reply doesn’t have anything of value to it. I don’t see a reason for your opinion on the subject to matter.
Or do you support Blizzard failing to put a dime behind stopping bots?
It doesn’t? The person I responded to was complaining they could no longer do 30 runs of Gnomer in 2 hours. I simply stated that wasn’t possible beforehand.
The reason the mace is best is because Druids don’t benefit from the damage values of weapons, only the stats. MCP has decent stats AND an on-activation effect that increases attack speed by 50%. Since a large portion of a Druid’s damage is from white damage (auto attacks) it makes the MCP far more beneficial than any other weapon in the game.
The only way to change this would be to make a Druid’s weapon count as more than just a stat stick.

This isn’t retail. Please don’t force your changes on us. I like my level 30 mace, thanks. Blizzard, please revert this change.

What? That’s very obviously false. At 3 minutes a run you can do 30 in 2 hours. At a more realistic 2.5 minutes a run you can do 48 in 2 hours. Take some time to think about it.
Man you’ve been hammering this for days. Get over it. You know that he’s talking about real world time and you’re talking about /played time. You cannot complete 11 runs or more of gnomer in two hours, so from 12:00-2:00 pm you can run 10 times. That’s what he means and you’re being obtuse. If you want to log in, do your 5 three minute runs, log out, and come back later, your /played time might be about 2 hours for 40 runs, but it still look you all day long to do that
