this is my main, your not being meaningful and get mad cause i ask questions, so we can sort figure it out onw how to how and why you able to do 30 instances to fast?
i guess having them pay 3 - 4 gold piece to get carry in dungeon sounds like helping by boosting in dungeon and that is nothing wrong with it much, only were boosts were free and you have mage keep all blue boe
besides i am not advocating it and people on classic sides want boosting gone and i donāt get it either
you can do 5 per hour, he needs like 3 min to kill the one boss he needs.
And that pally is a troll nothing else
highly doubt it would cost 30 instances in day, after is lock for 1 day, kinda like heroic dungeons, sucks for those that farm all day on same dungeon over and over again, gotta need some lucky charms if luck on dungeon boss drop is that bad :V
I do not understand why you try to argue this? He farms his maces in the span of an actual 2 hour window (and mind you not everyone can farm on any given day. Some people have to crunch).
And maybe after farming the maces hed like to raid or do some dungeons with friends. Go ubrs, fish for jed. etc.
And now he can not. Because hes locked and apparently not allowed to do any more dungeons.
for 30 instances spams in day?! sounds like his guild are super elitist or he really need maces super badly just to get highest dps?
The funny thing is, your main is likely a mage and the druid you are posting on just an alt you boosted.
So post on your main, mage.
Oh look at this guy who has no job and can play hours and hours every day and not just on the weekends.
Letās compare net worths. This is my one character I have, the 2nd highest is level 6 and still in Dun Morogh:

I think I have about 200-300 gold worth of consumables in my bank.
I personally donāt charge for boosting, I just do it for free when I feel like it. But I donāt have a problem with people offering services for gold, you gotta make gold to do most endgame things. The game might not be tuned around world buffs but it is tuned around consumables. If you donāt enjoy grinding mobs, then hey boost the alts of those who do. Also I play on a high pop server and we donāt want people grinding mobs in the world ā the levelers will never get their quests done!
I have never farmed a crowd pummeler a day in my life on my druid and it works just fine.
I mean when specifically talking about mcp farmingā¦ I spend longer sitting on the crapper every day than it takes to run in and out of gnomer 5 times. So while I understand that there will always be the exceptions and people who literally cannot log in to their computer 6 days out of 7, for whatever reason, if you spend 20 minutes at home watching the news, reading the paper, sitting on the crapper after youāre done wiping, whatever, you actually do have time to bang out 5 gnomer runs every day.
When farming pummelers: I do two lockouts per day (10 instances taking about 45 minutes total in playtime) in gnomeregan. By raid night I have between 15-20 pummelers if Iāve farmed throughout the week.
If I wanted to use three pummeler charges on every boss in BWL/MC/Ony I need 19 pummelers per week. However:
-A lot of bosses die before 1:30 and all 3 charges of the MCP are not used
-Many druids, myself included, may have certain fights where weāre dispelling (Chromag)
-Who cares about using pummelers in MC?
Iām lazy and Iām casual. I never have all my buffs, I donāt pummeler consistently, etc. and I still somehow achieve 80ās and 90ās parses. This indicates that most feral druids are using less pummelers than me. I typically use about 6-8 per week. 8 pummelers per week is an easy farm.
The change really only affects tryhard cat dps parsers, at least in regards to pummeler farming. It sucks for them, but then again theyāre already kind of masochistic and enjoy a challenge.
Thank you! This is what Iāve been trying to say across a half dozen threads. The number of people who A. Actually use 20-25 MCP/week and B. Have to do all of their raid farming in a single calendar day cannot be more than a very very select few druids. Itās just bizarre circumstances.
Iām not trying to tell anyone how to play, and Iām not dismissing that there are people that only play one day a week. What I am saying is that this specific play style (hardcore feral requiring 20+ mcp/week) and 1 day/week gamers just likely doesnāt overlap enough for this to be a problem that actually happens
I have a few more than two BWLs, I use pummeler on almost every fight and think they should revert the change and do something else.
Imagine attacking someoneās ethos instead of making a legitimate argument.
He did make an argument. It was an argument you didnāt like.
His argument is:
āJusT DOnt HiT tHE cAp.ā
Not everyone has enough time to farm their MCPs over time. Id rather spend my hour or two a day doing something else or helping guildies and spend saturday/sunday to binge gnomer whilst watching TV.
Legitimate arguments are almost completely ignored here, this forum thrives on emotion. Iām also quite positive you didnāt use the word āethosā properly.
I do think the cap will be reverted or altered. I donāt think the extremely small percentage of Feral Druids that may run into an issue farming their MCPās every week will be a major factor in that decision. The outrage over this is manufactured, largely by Mages who are jumping to the aid of the same Feral Druids they ostracize from their raid groups.
Nice edit,
Ethos is character or credibility, you attacked their credibility by log shaming them for not bringing MCPs to every raid which I find funny because I donāt think you bring MCPās to every raid either.
I find the instance cap a huge nuisance for me on weekends when I farm MCPs and I wish it was done better if not removed but im fine living with it. The outrade is primarily from mages or mages on druid alts having a whinge I agree.
Mages do less damage than feral druids so they dont have much to ostracize though lmao.
