I am when the community decides what I am allowed to obtain or not. I am when the world content gets scaled back in favor of treadmill mindwashed players who never cared about the story or world to begin with. I am when they decide that Goblin Druids, Pandaren DHs, and “High Elf” paladins are allowed to be a thing alongside abominable Eredar options. I don’t know who they’re listening to anymore but they’re clearly listening to the wrong people.
Nobody has time, no one cares. More solo content, more world content, or the game can remain dead. That’s that.

Like I said my kids are no older than 15, when they first started WoW they are younger and had no idea how to even make macros but they asked questions, learned their classes, and had bad experiences in guilds and social interactions until they ended up finding a group that clicked with them.
If the common problem with every MMO is the MMO’s fault, then you need to take a look at your motives and see if they match with what the game wants from you.
Let’s be honest here: the “gatekeeping problem” is actually just people who feel that they are entitled to join every group they apply to, even if they are in no way qualified for that group. The most interesting content is content where performance checks exist, and if someone refuses to put in reasonable effort to meet those performance checks, they do not deserve to clear that content.

This is a tough pill for people to swallow.
By paying a sub, the only thing you are entitled to is to attempt to earn the rewards that the content offers.
You are not entitled to the rewards from content you either choose to not attempt, or give up at the 1st hurdle.

I blame modern gaming, it rewards people for just logging in.
WoW is unique in that the real rewards that the community cares about is locked behind effort, which seems to be a no-no word in the newer generation of gamers since most games now a days don’t require much effort.
I’m happy to have introduced my kids to WoW, they learn to appreciate the time involved in earning rewards in games and even in life.
Honestly i feel thats one of the best features about wow. Though im not against them having a party version that would actually sync you and a part to do it for good old times. Im pretty much a solo player most the people i played with over the years either dont play anymore or not so often so being able to go in to farm old content that i wasnt able to get into even if its many expasions later is what keeps me playing.
So a best feature for you is one shotting mobs for loot?
They are not and you repeated this same exact message to other people. You are literally an npc and probly irl too. Come up with a list of who is agreeing with you and then a list of everyone saying you are clueless. Do that for every post of yours too. Would love to see the results.

You do realize no one actually disagrees with me right? They just don’t like my idea but agree with my sentiments.
I’m pretty sure we all disagree with you and your idea.

This isn’t true when most people agree with me.
this leaves me in a conundrum. do i disagree with you and agree with op? or do i disagree with garmuck and therefore agree with you? THE CHOICE IS CAUSING ME AGONY!

Name them.
Can you come up with at least 10 names out of the 300+ posts in this entire thread who support your idea?

There’s always option 3. Feign indifference and escape before you’re forced to make a decision.
