You shouldn't be able to solo old raids/dungeons

We were having a peaceful discourse until you started name calling.

I’m not saying Blizzard is perfect, but WoW is the easily the most recognized game in the world. You can’t deny that.

I’d argue its recognized for having a gigantically bad fall from grace alongside the likes of Overwatch, another Bli$$ard game.

How is Overwatch a failure? Overwatch 2 is one of the top FPS games on the market atm.

Let me know if you ever find the grass outside. Overwatch is one of the worst games ever now, partly due to the fact that it’s OVERly monetized. But hey I bet you believe Bli$$ard needs that money to provide content too  !

Anyway, we need more solo content in WoW, not less. The game sucks because you have to rely on some of the worst people imaginable in a gaming community to get anything done, no one is helpful. Everything is about profit. If anyone here was helpful they’d offer to super gear me with M+15 gear for free but wait, that’s not how it works right? No one does anything to be kind or nice or friendly, you need to make a profit off my lack of time.

More solo content or the game can continue to remain dead I guess.

So because people aren’t handing out free boosts to you, the community is toxic? Got it.

Absolutely. Bli$$ard makes a direct profit off that since we would have to buy WoW tokens to fund being geared up. The game is literally designed to be against you if you have a life and being told to not play because of that, like I said, is a load of bs. The game needs to adapt to modern players or it can die off.

You do realize you’d have to spend a ton of money to buy boosts when you can just do it for free by playing the game and being good?

KSM is free if you just watch a video or two on your class and pug.

Delusional. This community has an insane gatekeeping problem. No one can just ‘get ksm’ and why would I anyway? Those mounts are not special or unique, no reason to suffer through failed keys because people are whiny and don’t want to waste their time let alone my own time. This game isn’t hard to play as is, it’s more of a lack of time for the majority which is why most people have quit. Or at least 1 of several critical reasons why.

You do realize WoW has over 10 million players world wide right? People are not on as much atm due to season ending, but Season 3 will be super hype just like the start of any new season.

It doesn’t have 10 million players worldwide even if it did that’s a laughable number in comparison to several other MMOs and other genres of games anyways. I do believe it has around 1 million or less for sure though. Maybe 2 million to be generous.

The top 3 MMOs in the world currently is 1. WoW 2. Classic WoW and 3. FF14, you can check mmopopulations(dot)com

I do not believe that website to be accurate for measuring anything anyways. If they haven’t published the numbers then all of that is guesstimates.

I mean you keep moving the goal posts, if you hate WoW so much why are you paying a sub and posting here?

I came back because a friend got into the game and wanted help. His #1 complaint about this game though is the heavy focus on forced group content or you just don’t get to enjoy the game or get anything meaningful by playing alone or even with just one other person.

Yea, it’s an MMO. Not Call of Duty, are you sure he installed the right game?

This mindset you have is why this game is dead. If a new player can identify this as a problem then it’s a problem whether you want to acknowledge it or not. This community alongside Bli$$ard holds it back so disgustingly.

Just because your friend doesn’t like to group up with people doesn’t mean everyone else agrees with him.

You could likely ask any new player who has joined in recent times and I’d be willing to bet that their reasoning is forced group content alongside the terrible gatekeepy community. WoW is the only MMO that has not adapted, the rest have and that’s why people play those games over this one.

more like nobody will on this topic, go home you’re drunk.

I am 48 and my two kids who are in their teens play WoW as well, and they love the guilds they play with and actively spend time with their guildies and make friends with them.

Some of them also happen to be close to their age, and it’s made them very social even outside of games in their school as well.

It sucks that you and your friend don’t like group based games but you can’t be mad at a group based game for wanting you to group up.
