Oh, for sure. I’m super happy that they put the book in as a reward instead of in the shop or something.
They should have put all of the mounts that didn’t win into the shop.
This has to be a troll. No way any player would advocate for the shop to have ingame content.
It lost the poll, and it wasn’t even considered at the time that we would get it at all. Why would it be required to be put in the game in any particular way?
Oh, we’re going the hot takes route. Not to encourage boosting, but if you’re fine with it being bought for real money, then why is the worst case scenario of it being behind a boost a problem?
They waited to late to change it to normal mode only. Like shadowlands season 4 comes out in like 2 days, or maybe next tuesday. Either way, it has said and indicated all difficulties in the wording since forever now. And we are now on PTR. And it is being changed just now. Way to late. And now we have everyones hopes up who were planning on doing it on LFR.
Just super stupid if you ask me. Like saying to your child you will give them the thing they want for christmas, and then 2 days before, being like, nevermind. You don’t get anything. And with this change in wow, casuals and solo players, and anyone who would be doing LFR, will now be getting nothing.
Guess it is what it is. But shoot blizzard. Why did they keep it the way it was for so long. While it is always subject to change, i like to have reasonable notice. And they gave me no notice whatsoever. I could have had my hopes down in alpha or whatever. That would have been fine.
I’d prefer if they kept putting them in as rewards. My theory is that they’ll do the caterpillar as a mists of pandaria challenge mode timewalking incentive, but then will probably have the swarmer as the retail version of the wrath collector’s edition mount.
It isn’t even out yet. There is no too late.
Right? People taking these work in progress and “subject to change” things like they’re laws.
The achievement is currently in the live game and says “on any difficulty”. They are I assume going to have to change the wording to say Normal and above.
That would defeat the FOMO syndrome Blizzard is banking on to keep folks subbed.
This i cannot argue with actually. This is pretty clever forsight, and i will be surprised if you are wrong.
I still think blizzard waited to late to add the normal only tag to the slime kitty achievement though. I still think that is stupid. Even if it was subject to change. At least get my hopes down early, and not at the last second.
Something something “upcoming content is subject to change” something something.
Hell, we didn’t even know what the thing looked like until around the same time that they clarified what difficulties it was going to be available in.
Well, there’s a pretty reasonable chance that they change it to LFR on Monday.
Which is why it’s good to take stuff with a grain of salt. I might see something cool in an upcoming class talent tree that’ll get deleted long before it’s live, so I don’t get too attached.
coughsoarcough
I personally disagree but I’d love to be proven wrong.
It says and I quote “defeat the following bosses on any difficulty while Nathria is on a FATED raid.” has blizzard said anywhere that LFR is going to be fated?
They have, actually.
If it was about the top 1%. It would be available only in the hardest raids.
That’s where you’re wrong Gnome! Anduin showed it to me in a dream!
