You mean something that these changes will most likely affect and is a one and done?
I was just a little let down today when I belted out a Level 8 solo in 40 minutes, not dying once.
I suppose if theyâre releasing a challenging version for cosmetics/titles sooner rather than later, itâs OK though.
Read what has already been said to respond to that statement about a million times in this thread alone.
Yeah children like him feel entitled to everything higher end players put in the effort for so donât mind him
Whats stopping you from replaying Twisting Corridors?
LOL higher end players, you mean the ones who paid other people to get for them? Those high end players?
Oh, are you one of those people who gets angry that they are bad at the game and self-rants about how other people just must pay their way to make yourself feel better about being bad?
Lol there will always be people buying their way through content. I donât understand them either but they are still a minority and have nothing to do with players that did the content themselves while others cried it was too hard to do.
You do regular layers every week you need/want ash. And these changes will affect Twisting, itâs difficulty is based off the base layers. (At least thatâs whatâs being parroted that Ion said.)
hush it i like it this way i can get what i need gtfo and go back to my pvp
IF Layer 8 is this easy it basically layer one on release.
layer 18 the cap in twisted specially after im boosted the hell out of all my best anima powers is going to be a joke.
So you saying you can do a layer 8 in ilvl 130 gear? If not then there is a gear check component to the content.
Also, I am not trying to downplay your ability, but its a lot easier to run Torghast on a hunter than some other classes because it is ranged and you have your pet to tank for you. So you might have an easy time in lower gear than say a melee class were their cdâs might not be enough to soak the incoming damage and they canât put out high enough damage. Again, please donât think I am trying to downplay you because I know you still have to have the proper use of cdâs and ccâs.
Thats how Roguelikes work; if you get OP powers youâre gonna feel like a god.
Twisting is also 8 layers, but 18 floors instead of 6. It is to start at Layer 1 will supposedly start where Layer 8 left off in difficulty, so be essentially Layer 9⌠which isnât crap if you calculate all the extra anima you get from 3x the floors.
Thatâs nice but you canât convert wow into a rogue like
A game like Hades we all start the same, weâre all Zagreus, we have the same weapon upgrades and access to the same gifts. After that itâs RNG
In wow, weâre tanks, healers and dps all with varying degrees of self healing, interrupts, buffs and stuns.
You canât balance that to make it challenging for everyone because a class that finds it easy, the balance to challenge him more would make it much harder for a class/spec that has it tougher. Not a matter of rerolling either, we need variety out there to fill raid groups.
if balancing means that a class that found it easy finds it easier so a class that was struggling can beat it then thatâs fine by me.
im op from the first floor tho.
there is no build up i walk in and i did 10k aoe got like 4 powers and snowballed from there
they werent ,you could of just done layer 3 and every week since release and still get your rank 4 leggo next week like the rest of us doing 8
Torghast is impossible to balance. There are so many classes/specs and item ranges to consider. The nerf was to address the fact that people generally have less gear than they did in beta and to make it possible for bad solo specs.
Their goal is to fix core issues with Torghast, not to make it easy mode. Iâm sure if it becomes too easy or when people get more gear, they will do some tuning.
Its an expansion feature so their first priority is to make it as fun as possible for the most amount of people.
Thereâs a soft gear check, true. I was personally actually looking forward to taking my Outlaw Rogue into Torghast in nothing but crafted 151 blues and WQ gear thatâs easy to obtain in a couple of days and seeing how far I could get them through Torghast. With what I know of the toolset, Layer 3 is most likely and the goal would be Layer 6. Now, no point. Torghast is a joke.
EDIT: BTW itâs still a soft gear check. And why would you be 130? My highest is 180 but I canât understand how someone could be sub-150.
Layer 8 is NOT . MAIN . STORY . STUFF
Literally, you do the story on a separate instance and Layer 1. If layer 1 was too hard for you, fine, nerf that by taking out all the mobs. Just put an already killed last boss on the final floor and no traps anywhere. Now itâs just a joke at layer 8 for most who arenât even raid or high pvp geared, three weeks into the expansion. What is blizzardâs plan here except to make it an expansion feature with zero longevity? Island crap lasted longer than this.
And Endless Corridors or whatever itâs called, who knows what the point of that will be? I like a challenge, but I donât like endless. Ainât nobody got time for that! A good 2-3 hours a week for soul ash, sure. Potentially 10-20 hours, not so much.
Letâs hear them flip out and complain about it. Canât wait. Iâm already laughing.
